All four runs were unearned because of the error.

Bauer was already at 55(!) pitches when they took him out, a crazy number for 1.2 innings of work but not low enough that he could pitch in relief in Game 5 if needed.

High strikes calls have seemed kind of random all night, it's not just those two pitches.

They will make a big deal about Bruce's throw and Lindor not handling it, but really Frazier was busting azz to get home on that hit through the infield from first on that play.

Amazing battle from Gardner and what a brainfart by Cleveland's defense.

Frazier's slide was great too, anything less and he would have been out.

I'm not saying it was Enos Slaughter or anything, but to get from first to home even with that bad relay you had to be busting it.

I've definitely seen worse throw ins, he just had to hit third right as Lindor fumbled the ball and kept on trucking.

Either way, the Astros series should be really good. I had a feeling this year's playoffs were going to be really good, it's one of those seasons where the top clubs (outside maybe the the Twins - sorry) were all pretty good.

To a certain extent, I think it can be code for white--but the Phillies did have Mariano Duncan, Kim Batiste, and Ben Rivera in prominent roles. I remember it as a mostly white and disheveled-looking bunch, though: Dykstra, Kruk, Mitch Williams, Incaviglia, etc.
