what are you talking about? sizemore was an MVP-level player from 2005-2008

and this is still small sample size afaic, they've got 2 mediocre pitchers with low-2s ERAs

the 2009 royals are most instructive here i think, they were in 1st place until mid-May even though real heads said 'they dont have enough talent' and sure enough by the end of the season they were like 65-97 or something
