scott seward (scott seward), Wednesday, 26 October 2005 14:36 (twenty years ago)

revelation: i don't really like king crimson that much.

Special Agent Dale Koopa (orion), Wednesday, 26 October 2005 14:39 (twenty years ago)

"I'm proud of the way I've avoided prison"

sexyDancer (sexyDancer), Wednesday, 26 October 2005 14:40 (twenty years ago)

same for me, ian.

hstencil (hstencil), Wednesday, 26 October 2005 14:51 (twenty years ago)

i dont buy them either...

bb (bbrz), Wednesday, 26 October 2005 14:59 (twenty years ago)

sorry not me

gear (gear), Wednesday, 26 October 2005 15:05 (twenty years ago)

have yoo all heard it?

scott seward (scott seward), Wednesday, 26 October 2005 15:36 (twenty years ago)

probably once or twice.

hstencil (hstencil), Wednesday, 26 October 2005 16:01 (twenty years ago)

I bought a copy of Red and never even listened to it

sexyDancer (sexyDancer), Wednesday, 26 October 2005 16:02 (twenty years ago)

I like King Crimson.

walter kranz (walterkranz), Wednesday, 26 October 2005 16:07 (twenty years ago)

i just sold my copy of red. mediocre. i kinda like moments on court of the crimson king, but the rest of what i've heard has left me flat.

i think the ones i need to hear next to make SURE i don't like 'em are Islands and Starless & Bible Black

Special Agent Dale Koopa (orion), Wednesday, 26 October 2005 16:14 (twenty years ago)

not me. fripp doesn't do it for me.

Igor Adkins (Grodd), Wednesday, 26 October 2005 16:23 (twenty years ago)

yep...same bastard gave me mushrooms for the 1st time.

bb (bbrz), Wednesday, 26 October 2005 16:24 (twenty years ago)

I sold my copy of Red, too, but I would buy Larks' Tongues. They used to show a clip of them playing the title track on that German show Beat Club on MTV (and probably Night Flight) when I was a teenager and it's pretty flipping great. The percussionist Jamie Muir was in the band at this point (I think it's the only record he's on).

Tim Ellison (Tim Ellison), Wednesday, 26 October 2005 17:31 (twenty years ago)

HEATHENS!!

i love the first and the 80s albums. i only recently got Larks, but think it's great.

i too sold Red. i think it sounds too much like Smashing Pumpkins

jaxon (jaxon), Wednesday, 26 October 2005 17:40 (twenty years ago)

Never liked Crimson that much. Henry Cow were just so much better.

I love Fripp's Exposure & the records with Eno.

milton parker (Jon L), Wednesday, 26 October 2005 18:16 (twenty years ago)

The image of Jamie Muir walking around that set with a fur coat on and blowing a bird call whistle has stuck with me lo these years ...

Tim Ellison (Tim Ellison), Wednesday, 26 October 2005 18:40 (twenty years ago)

Larks is maybe their most Henry Cow-like record, yes?

Tim Ellison (Tim Ellison), Wednesday, 26 October 2005 18:41 (twenty years ago)

Tim you're always so pleasant

milton parker (Jon L), Wednesday, 26 October 2005 19:10 (twenty years ago)

I never could get into Henry Cow much but I just realized a couple of weeks ago that I have the lame remixed versions of Legend and In Praise... so no wonder they sound too '80s to me. I need to check out the real mixes of that stuff.

walter kranz (walterkranz), Wednesday, 26 October 2005 19:11 (twenty years ago)

yeah, i've never gotten into Henry Cow either. i've got a couple of Art Bears and solo Frith records at home. the Frith records (gravity & speechless) are the biz, but i put on Art Bears just to annoy the missus

jaxon (jaxon), Wednesday, 26 October 2005 19:14 (twenty years ago)

The image of Jamie Muir walking around that set with a fur coat on and blowing a bird call whistle has stuck with me lo these years ...

what's this about?

jaxon (jaxon), Wednesday, 26 October 2005 19:15 (twenty years ago)

henry cow wer great. larx tungz is awesome. and i'm no crimson-head. i love the first album, but mostly cuz it was a fave of mine when i was a little kid. i wuz listening to larx today and it was reminding me of boredoms. the drums are great. very krautlike.

scott seward (scott seward), Wednesday, 26 October 2005 19:49 (twenty years ago)

"what's this about?"

Oh, that clip of them playing "Larks' Tongues" on Beat Club that I was talking about.

Tim Ellison (Tim Ellison), Wednesday, 26 October 2005 19:51 (twenty years ago)

every solo Fripp record i've heard (minus some of the frippertronics records) are so freakin' great

i only recently heard No Pussyfooting and am actually partially sold on the technique. but some of those records are kinda boring

jaxon (jaxon), Wednesday, 26 October 2005 20:06 (twenty years ago)

No Pussyfooting and Evening Star are stone classics as is every Crimson record from the debut through at least Red. Lizard and Starless & Bible Black are a couple of my faves.

walter kranz (walterkranz), Wednesday, 26 October 2005 20:13 (twenty years ago)

the frippertronics records are weird, they're documents of live shows... but live, he'd punch out and do insane Fripp-solos against the tape while it continued to decay = the best parts. but since the solos didn't end up on the tape, they aren't on the records -- even though you can tell they're missing.

No Pussyfooting is the one official record that keeps Fripp's solos on top of the loops, Eno was smart enough to engineer a full recording & get it all.

Always looking for more bootlegs of his frippertronics tours from 78-81.

milton parker (Jon L), Wednesday, 26 October 2005 20:14 (twenty years ago)

Bruford is on 'Larks', so that's reason enough to own it.

Keith C (lync0), Wednesday, 26 October 2005 21:26 (twenty years ago)

the only Crimso records from the original era I *don't* have are Lizard and Islands (and, ok, USA too). I've never even heard them. Everyone always said that was the low point, between the psychedelic excess of the Greg Lake group and the later power trio rippage. Lizard and Islands are when it was like BOZ BURRELL and some other dudes right? Lark's is a good'un though.

Has anyone heard that McDonald & GIles record? It kinda seems like it has to be good. All records with purple filtered cover shots are generally good.

Stormy Davis (diamond), Wednesday, 26 October 2005 21:35 (twenty years ago)

http://image.allmusic.com/00/amg/cov200/drf800/f857/f85785sehi4.jpg

looks good, right?

I need to get some Jackson Heights records too while I'm at it.

Stormy Davis (diamond), Wednesday, 26 October 2005 21:37 (twenty years ago)

Islands has "Ladies of the Road" on it, right? That's a really good song.

Tim Ellison (Tim Ellison), Wednesday, 26 October 2005 21:38 (twenty years ago)

What is up with the whole Henry Cow CD saga anyway? I've got the original CD of Unrest that adds the previously unreleased jam stuff. Do I need to upgrade? It doesn't sound "remixed" at all ... in fact the sound is pretty bad, or at least it's mastered really low.

I always think to myself how long it's been since I actually listened to my Henry Cow records, and then I'll think to myself "well, that must be an indication that I don't honestly like them all that much", and one day I'll finally pull out a record and listen and I'll be like "Hot damn they were great!"

Stormy Davis (diamond), Wednesday, 26 October 2005 21:40 (twenty years ago)

I LOVE LARKS TONGUE AND STARLESS!!! LIKE 2 OF THE BEST RECORDS EVER.

howell huser (chaki), Wednesday, 26 October 2005 21:41 (twenty years ago)

downloaded the Giles, Giles & Fripp (pre King Crimson) and am fucking in love with it!
-- Jaxon (jaso...), September 19th, 2005 12:29 PM. (jaxon) (admin) (userip)

I should check out that Giles, Giles, and Fripp album again.
-- Tim Ellison (thefriendlyfriendlybubbl...), September 19th, 2005 1:40 PM. (Tim Ellison) (admin) (userip)

re GGF: it's completely not what i was expecting. it's so cute and jazzy and soft poppy and english. the vocal harmonies are really beautiful, the guitar work is amazing, but not overstated. there's just enough experimentation w/o beating you over the head with it.
-- Jaxon (jaso...), September 19th, 2005 1:42 PM. (jaxon) (admin) (userip)

am i the only person who likes that McDonald & Giles album? Tim must like it, no? All Beatlesy art-rock and all. it sells for next to nothing on vinyl.
-- scott seward (skotro...), September 19th, 2005 3:39 PM. (scott seward) (admin) (userip)

jaxon (jaxon), Wednesday, 26 October 2005 21:50 (twenty years ago)

What is up with the whole Henry Cow CD saga anyway?

OK, I just looked at the CDs and I was wrong: Legend wasn't remixed but In Praise of Learning was. You can look at the back of the CD and see if it says "remixed April 1985." I guess it's just the first two tracks but it sounds all yucky and '80s reverb-y to me.

walter kranz (walterkranz), Wednesday, 26 October 2005 21:53 (twenty years ago)

I don't know though, if you look at user reviews on Amazon I guess Legend is remixed as well even though it's not mentioned in the liner notes. It's confusing. At any rate there are new remastered versions out now that apparently restore the albums to their original mixes. I'm guessing I would like those better because I dig the music but the sound is just so nasty to me.

walter kranz (walterkranz), Wednesday, 26 October 2005 21:56 (twenty years ago)

What is up with the whole Henry Cow CD saga anyway?

the first three albums were originally released on CD by ESD in the early 90's, all with bonus tracks from the same sessions. Legend & In Praise of Learning were both remixed in the 80's. They were mastered quiet and tinny, sounded bad.

ReR released the first three again on CD a few years ago, Remastered, original mixes, and with expanded liner notes & great photos -- but without the bonus tracks. (the bonus tracks are abstract improvised outtakes, though -- they diluted the albums, you don't need 'em)

You can tell them apart by the covers; the ESD's covers fill the booklet, and the ReR's put them in tiny insets.

milton parker (Jon L), Wednesday, 26 October 2005 22:04 (twenty years ago)

I have an original copy of Legend on vinyl and it sounds GREAT.

Tim Ellison (Tim Ellison), Wednesday, 26 October 2005 22:24 (twenty years ago)

yah, the vinyl is sweet, and henry cow rekkerds are pretty cheap too.

scott seward (scott seward), Wednesday, 26 October 2005 22:44 (twenty years ago)

"looks good, right?

I need to get some Jackson Heights records too while I'm at it."

it is good, stormy. i have two copies too, but one is kinda beat, otherwise i would send you one. they go for like five bucks though.

jackson heights rekkerds on the other hand, can be way pricey. i have a great one on, i think, mercury. i love it. i want more.

scott seward (scott seward), Wednesday, 26 October 2005 22:47 (twenty years ago)

Never liked Crimson that much. Henry Cow were just so much better

sigh. HC never made any tunes like Red or Larks Tongues pt 2. In fact, nobody did except KC, which is why they will always have a place in my heart. I personally like HC spinoffs more than I like HC.

Dominique (dleone), Thursday, 27 October 2005 14:46 (twenty years ago)

I really like Henry Cow (though I like Art Bears & Slapp Happy better) but King Crimson are fucking way better for me. "Lark's Tongues" is one of the best, "Lizard" is good as well, & actually way under-rated by a lot of people.

Pashmina (Pashmina), Thursday, 27 October 2005 14:50 (twenty years ago)

hc never even touched kc as far as heavy ass riffage goes.

howell huser (chaki), Thursday, 27 October 2005 16:09 (twenty years ago)

Yeah, but Frith didn't need to do heavy ass riffage to be fucking awesome.

Tim Ellison (Tim Ellison), Thursday, 27 October 2005 16:10 (twenty years ago)

(Not that Fripp needed to do heavy ass riffage to be fucking awesome necessarily either; I'm just pointing out that Frith was fucking awesome anyways.)

Tim Ellison (Tim Ellison), Thursday, 27 October 2005 16:13 (twenty years ago)

Yeah, Frith pwnz Fripp generally. But, I still like KC better.

Pashmina (Pashmina), Thursday, 27 October 2005 16:18 (twenty years ago)

prog nerdszzz

Special Agent Dale Koopa (orion), Thursday, 27 October 2005 16:22 (twenty years ago)

well this thread got me listening to The Great Deceiver again a bit, keeping to the jams and skipping over the vocal tracks

& it's true that Crimson straight up rocks in a truly profound way, whereas most of the pleasure in Cow is the uncompromising minefield, they never keep one groove for more than a few bars, or if there is it is an insanely tricky one. and when Cow breaks into noise, it's flat out AMM fury, especially on the bootlegs.

Crimson is great. Someday I'll buy a copy of Lark's.

milton parker (Jon L), Thursday, 27 October 2005 16:38 (twenty years ago)

oh and on friday: Fred Frith / Terry Riley improv duet at Mills

milton parker (Jon L), Thursday, 27 October 2005 16:40 (twenty years ago)

"most of the pleasure in Cow is the uncompromising minefield"

Not just the complexity for its own sake, though, but the fact that a lot of the stuff they do is really beautiful, too - great instrumental textures and melodicism.

Tim Ellison (Tim Ellison), Thursday, 27 October 2005 16:45 (twenty years ago)

I am agreeing with Tim!

milton parker (Jon L), Thursday, 27 October 2005 16:59 (twenty years ago)

wow!

milton parker (Jon L), Thursday, 27 October 2005 17:02 (twenty years ago)

WTF, I don't think I have Lark's Tongue. I could have sworn I did but I can't find it anywhere. So I need to get that one huh?

walter kranz (walterkranz), Thursday, 27 October 2005 17:05 (twenty years ago)

seriously, if KC had either had a different singer (but still let Wetton play bass), or were just instrumental, you'd be hearing about them in all the VH1 behind the heavy metal top 100 greatest deals shows.

that's why you need to put Talking Drum and LTiA2 on repeat

Dominique (dleone), Thursday, 27 October 2005 17:18 (twenty years ago)

I agree that the singer is this band's main problem.

a friend at work has just loaned me his copy of Lark's, I just went straight to 'Part 1'. If I made myself an instrumental KC mix, it'd be one of my favorites.

god now I need to hear Starless again just to check.

milton parker (Jon L), Thursday, 27 October 2005 17:25 (twenty years ago)

I think the same thing could be said for most prog bands.

walter kranz (walterkranz), Thursday, 27 October 2005 17:46 (twenty years ago)

(x-post)

didn't i have the conversation with you that I always wished Cutler and Fripp had worked together? It just seems like it might have worked, at least musically

I have to say that most of the really dedicated prog heads I know like the vocals specifically because they sound the way they do. I'm pretty pedestrian in my tastes compared to them, as far as vox.

Dominique (dleone), Thursday, 27 October 2005 17:54 (twenty years ago)

http://rapidshare.de/files/5032647/KCLarks.rar
pw = RiffRaff

please note, this is a low bitrate (96-128k), but utterly enjoyable.

jaxon (jaxon), Thursday, 27 October 2005 18:10 (twenty years ago)

that's a wild idea, their personalities are so violently opposed -- perhaps somehow it might have worked musically, but it never, ever would have happened in ten million years

I don't know, I hear Wetton's voice and I just think "That man is an idiot" and can't proceed, but that really is just me, we're dealing with the outer reaches of acquired taste by the time you're dealing with Dagmar

milton parker (Jon L), Thursday, 27 October 2005 18:11 (twenty years ago)

I hear Wetton and I think, "that man is deeply disappointed that King Crimson didn't get more groupies"

actually, in interviews, he seems like a really nice guy. Fripp just has a very odd taste in vocalists.

Dominique (dleone), Thursday, 27 October 2005 18:33 (twenty years ago)

it's a strange subset of people who can a) carry a tune and b) handle working with Fripp

been listening to Great Deceiver and Starless while working today, it's true that most of this music is impossible to fuck with, when they were good they were good

milton parker (Jon L), Thursday, 27 October 2005 18:42 (twenty years ago)

i like john wetton's voice! its blusy and british. i like :the night watchman" live kc shit that eventually made it onto starless! but raw and heavy.

howell huser (chaki), Thursday, 27 October 2005 18:54 (twenty years ago)

I love Greg Lake's voice on ITCOTCK anyway and am glad they didn't go for bryan ferry.

scott seward (scott seward), Thursday, 27 October 2005 19:10 (twenty years ago)

Has anyone heard that McDonald & GIles record? It kinda seems like it has to be good. All records with purple filtered cover shots are generally good.

-- Stormy Davis (electrifyingmojo@y

I got let down badly by 2 such covers/rekkids though - that Grapefruit one, great great cover purple filtered cover, but the music didn't make it for me. Maybe there was one good track on it, I forget. Also, "Mind Garage", oh hang on, I just did a google image search, and it's not purple filtered at all! Why the fuck did I think it was? Check out the cover anyway, though:

http://www.musicbaron.com/60s74.JPG

Looking like that, and with a name ike that, it's got to be great, right? It's not.

List of filtered-colour rekkid sleeves here. Notice my sneaky bit of covert self-promotion (cough).

I like John Wetton's voice! We saw him live a few years ago (with a slightly lame backing band, TBH) and he still "had it". It suits the sound of the band, and the tunes really well, I think.

Dagmar Krause is the shit, though. Fucking great singer. I first heard her when I bought this '70's Virgin label 2 x 12" comp called "V". (I bought it b/c it had an unreleased tangerine dream track on it, that turned out to be lame) The first track on the side I listened to was something from "Desperate Straights", I think it was "Excerpt from the Messiah". When she started singing, I was like HOLY FUCK, and I had to put the needle right back to the beginning, and listen to the intro again! The Brecht/Weill album she did in the '80's is just fucking great.

the "minefield" thing w/Cow is perhaps the shifting time signature thing they did, where it sometimes seems that every bar is in a different meter. That's fucking awesome, the fact they reached the point where they could play like that, as if it were natural & normal. National Health did that as well, but they were probably a bit too mannered and mor compared to Henry Cow. (I still like them though).

Pashmina (Pashmina), Thursday, 27 October 2005 21:21 (twenty years ago)

I listen to this album every week and have for 20 years. but not in the house when my wife is present

kyle (akmonday), Thursday, 27 October 2005 21:24 (twenty years ago)

what's the self promotion?

this is the raddest cover ever

walter kranz (walterkranz), Thursday, 27 October 2005 21:26 (twenty years ago)

the mcdonald giles record is alright.

kyle (akmonday), Thursday, 27 October 2005 21:29 (twenty years ago)

do noize dudes use rateyourmusic.com? i just saw it yesterday for the first time. i briefly thought about doing it, but fuk that. i'd input like 10cds and get bored out of my mind.

jaxon (jaxon), Thursday, 27 October 2005 21:31 (twenty years ago)

I know shit about it, to be honest. I only found that page because I was ego-surfing, and I was like ooh, look at our album amongst all those cool covers, so I made a mental note of it.

What's that Pete Sinfield solo alul like? I've never actually picked that one up.

Also, NB on that covers list @ rateyourmusic, those 2 anekdoten albums, which are the most blatant S&BB-type crimson knock-offs, apart from bi kyo ran, that i've ever heard. they're pretty good for all though, & worth picking up (if they're cheap) they sound like the whole thing was mixed through a turbo rat pedal in places. Suppsedly their later albums are more str8 alt-rock, I only have those 2 though.

Pashmina (Pashmina), Thursday, 27 October 2005 21:43 (twenty years ago)

"alul" is kind of a super weird typo for "album", wtf.

Pashmina (Pashmina), Thursday, 27 October 2005 21:43 (twenty years ago)

What's that Pete Sinfield solo alul like? I've never actually picked that one up.

it's one of the worst albums ever! pick it up if you can find it just for the novelty.

kyle (akmonday), Thursday, 27 October 2005 21:47 (twenty years ago)

stop being vague, which is your band? Vietgrove or Standarte

jaxon (jaxon), Thursday, 27 October 2005 21:48 (twenty years ago)

there's a clue in my email address, jaxon!

those Marcus Keef cover photos are great. Those slighty faded/washed out colours on '70's albums always look nce, I think.

rateyourmusic doesn't seem to like direct linking, by the look of it.

direct lining = blank space, http link straight to image give a 1 x 1 pixel image? why?

thet's the red one with the marshall stack? It's rad, yes. I've never heard the album, but I kind of get the impression that it's going to be really heavy psych from the picture.

Pashmina (Pashmina), Thursday, 27 October 2005 22:13 (twenty years ago)

yeah, red marshall stack, weird guitar in the background, AND A HAND COMING OUT OF THE GROUND! so wicked

jaxon (jaxon), Thursday, 27 October 2005 22:18 (twenty years ago)

I COULD HAVE WARNED YOU ABOUT MIND GARAGE. hope you bought it cheap. they are a dime a dozen.

scott seward (scott seward), Thursday, 27 October 2005 22:19 (twenty years ago)

pash, have you ever heard italo-prog group genealogica? i got an album of theirs that i was digging today. crappy cover though.

scott seward (scott seward), Thursday, 27 October 2005 22:21 (twenty years ago)

I traded it (mind garage) for something equally useless IIRC. Over here, it's not dime-a-dozen, but it wasn't expensive, I think I paid a tenner for it on spec. genealogica, I haven't heard. Is it recent? something decent & recent would be good, tbh. I'm sick of sub flower kings and spocks beard type shit from the "new" prog I've heard in the lasy year or so.

Pashmina (Pashmina), Thursday, 27 October 2005 22:26 (twenty years ago)

nah, it isn't recent. came out in 1975. hey, just on the off-chance that you might know, at the record store they have a copy of the first album by chaz jankel's old band Byzantium. I know the second album (seasons changing?) goes for megabucks and is supposed to be great folk/prog/psych, but i was wondering if the first album is any good. they are selling it for 15 bucks. if it were 5 bucks, i would just buy it.

scott seward (scott seward), Thursday, 27 October 2005 22:40 (twenty years ago)

And Stormy, the jackson heights album i have is *king progress*. it's a u.s. pressing on mercury.it's really great. all their vertigo stuff is out of my price range, but king progress isn't that pricey. i would love to hear the other ones though.

scott seward (scott seward), Thursday, 27 October 2005 22:42 (twenty years ago)

Wow, my roommate liked Red "except for the singing" too. Someone explain what's wrong with the vocals. They seem pretty straightforward to me, not that different from Pink Floyd vocals or something. Is it just that you don't like the tunes?

Sundar (sundar), Thursday, 27 October 2005 23:55 (twenty years ago)

(But I've ne'er heard Larks' Tongues, to answer the thread question.)

Sundar (sundar), Thursday, 27 October 2005 23:57 (twenty years ago)

on a non related prog tangent. what's a noise dude think of Utopia?

jaxon (jaxon), Friday, 28 October 2005 00:13 (twenty years ago)

the best utopia music is completely bonkers. like cartoon-prog. it bounces off the walls.

scott seward (scott seward), Friday, 28 October 2005 00:18 (twenty years ago)

Did King Crimson ever have a good singer?
Greg Lake - say no more
John Wetton - ended up in Asia
Adrian Belew - twat
Gordon Haskell - got to number 1 in the UK a few years ago with a song about his mum
Boz Burrell - ended up in Bad Company I think

All shit, although getting Pete Sinfield in to write the lyrics didn't help. His solo album is worth hearing for the song about health food by the way.

I only own Red and a scratched copy of the first album. Which of the gazillion live albums are worth hearing? Any instrumental ones?

Matt #2 (Matt #2), Friday, 28 October 2005 00:24 (twenty years ago)

Aaron Zanderz was a big Crimson fan, I believe.

k/l (Ken L), Friday, 28 October 2005 00:26 (twenty years ago)

i LOVE Lake & Belew on the KC albums. it's too confusing for me to know who's singing on what records and i'm too lazy to look it up

Utopia always seemed like it would be good for sampling though I never listen to it for fun.

Which of the gazillion live albums are worth hearing?

the Great Deceiver box set is pretty awesome and basically serves as the bulk of my crimson listening these days. I haven't bothered with the Night Watch (which is what Starless and Bible Black was culled from) or a lot of the others.

Greg Lake is a GREAT singer. "Still .... You Turn Me On" always gets me RIGHT HERE.

seconded on the Great Deceiver box. It's freakin' great. I have the Epitaph box too but I still haven't listened to it all..

the best utopia music is completely bonkers. like cartoon-prog. it bounces off the walls.

I saw a great Utopia concert in 1977 that climaxed with Todd ascending a pyramid onstage during a long proggy jamdown. The RA album tour, I'd be afraid to listen to that LP now.

team jaxon (jaxon), Monday, 6 February 2006 21:56 (nineteen years ago)

I heard this once when I worked in a record store! It seemed kind of awesome, actually! A long time ago, and I don't know if I listened to the whole thing, but ... maybe ...

Tim Ellison (Tim Ellison), Monday, 6 February 2006 22:06 (nineteen years ago)

it definitely doesn't suck, but it is too long.

kyle (akmonday), Monday, 6 February 2006 22:08 (nineteen years ago)

i've got it and it's good, but not their best.

Robert Fripp: "Hey, I think I'll call our new album THRAK."

Tim Ellison (Tim Ellison), Friday, 10 February 2006 18:12 (nineteen years ago)

THRAK was a letdown after the teaser VROOM ep, live demos cut before the album. less glossy, more rock.

milton parker (Jon L), Friday, 10 February 2006 19:20 (nineteen years ago)
