he only talks about the boring tracks on the album (the first four, michael mayer) ... all the exciting stuff happens when slam / angel alanis / infusion / josh wink etc are involved ... those songs all have hummable hooks and stuff.

in retrospect, i think the best trip-hop projects were the ones with monomaniacal "let's do the same thing 100x over" focus - mo'wax, major force west etc.
