i usually don't wear shorts because i don't like the dumpy, saggy look of most cargo shorts or the prepubescent dorky look of most jean shorts, which seem to be the most popular styles -- though that beachy madras look is suddenly popular this summer.

... but i recently got a pair of calf length seersucker shorts -- rockawear lol -- they're really light & comfortable and look pretty sharp. cut-off dickies are part of my kickball uniform. so i'm not averse to shorts, but my calves look pretty good too.

yeah i never wear either cargo or jean shorts (does anyone wear jean shorts????) but i will when extremely hungover wear my big lebowski oversize boxer shorts things & not even regret it later
