he is a total bro!!~

bell_labs, Monday, 23 July 2007 01:13 (eighteen years ago)

Stuart was snatched from the jaws of death by someone who bravely pulled away a dog who was attacking him on the street. He has a number of scratches and puncture wounds but is otherwise OK. He is a very friendly black and white male whose good nature probably prevented him from recognizing trouble before it bit him. He is shown here having a good stretch before settling in for more petting. We think he was born in 2006.
Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Color: Black & White Age: Adult

sharpie or DUPLEX! are my favourites
though i like 1992 as well

stuart is a decent name though - i do like giving cats people names - my 11-yr-old cat that i got when he was a v small kitten is called noam, but my 6-yr-old cat that i got when he was 3 is called cougar b/c that's the name he had and i know the family who gave him to me. but i did think about renaming him with a person name.

i am so happy you have a kitten, ian :)

for the thirtieth time, all domesticated animals should just be named "shit for brains" or "jackass" or something similar, since that is what they will get called more often than their "real name," which is mostly used to introduce them to visitors. only problem, if you lose them or they run away, it's not really cool to have to put up signs saying "answers to dickhead"

El Tomboto, Monday, 23 July 2007 16:39 (eighteen years ago)

"Stuart"

You know what Stuart? I like you. You're not like the other people here
in the trailer park. Oh no, don't get me wrong, they're fine people, good
Americans. But they're content to sit back, maybe watch a little Mork and
Mindy on channel 57. Maybe kick back a cool Coors 16-ouncer. They're
good fine people, Stuart. But they don't know what the queers are doing
to the soil.

You know that Johnny Werzner kid - the kid who delivers papers in the
neighborhood? He's a fine kid. Some of the neighbors say he smokes
crack, but I don't believe it. Anyway, for his 10th birthday, all he
wanted was a burrow owl, just like his old man. "Dad, get me a burrow
owl. I'll never ask for anything else as long as I live". So the guy
breaks down and buys him a burrow owl. Anyway at 10:30 the other night I
go out into my yard and there's the Werzner kid looking up in the tree. I
said, "What are you looking for?" He said, "I'm looking for my burrow
owl." I say, "Jumping Jesus on a pogo stick! Everybody knows that a
burrow owl lives in a hole in the ground! Why the hell do you think they
call it a burrow owl, anyway?!" Now Stuart, do you think a kid like that
is gonna know what the queers are doing to the soil?

I first became aware of this, about 10 years ago, the summer my oldest boy
Bill Jr. died. You know that carnival that comes to town every year?
Well this year it came with a ride called the Mixer. The man said "Keep
your head and arms inside the mixer at all times." But Bill Jr., he was a
daredevil, just like his old man. He was leaning out saying, "Hey
everybody! Look at me, look at me!" POW! He was decapitated. They found
his head over by the snowcone concession. A few days after that, I open
up the mail and there's a pamphlet in there, from Pueblo, Colorado. And
it's addressed to Bill Jr. And it's entitled, "Do you know what the
queers are doing to our soil?"

Now Stuart, if you look at the soil around any large U.S. city with a big
underground homosexual population - Des Moines, Iowa, perfect example.
Look at the soil around Des Moines, Stuart. You can't build on it, you
can't grow anything in it. The government says it's due to poor farming.
But I know what's really going on, Stuart. I know it's the queers.
They're in it with the aliens. They're building landing strips for gay
Martians. I swear to God.

You know what Stuart, I like you. You're not like the other people, here
in the trailer park.

dmr, Monday, 23 July 2007 16:41 (eighteen years ago)

Okra

ian, Tuesday, 24 July 2007 04:25 (eighteen years ago)

actually I'm beginning to think dr ben believes his name is "WAHT" bcz he'll be hanging out in the foyer yowling and yapping about something the way he does because he's a ludicrous fool and I'll be in here and hear him and say "what?!?" and he all of a sudden will shut up and bolt into the bedroom and stare at me.

El Tomboto, Tuesday, 24 July 2007 04:29 (eighteen years ago)

Catsupppppppppppppp dude 茄蕃, Tuesday, 24 July 2007 04:40 (eighteen years ago)

i was actually thinking or rorschach, kevin!
since he is mostly black and all.
also since he is the best character by far in watchmen.

ian, Tuesday, 24 July 2007 04:45 (eighteen years ago)

is he a right-wing vigilante?

latebloomer, Tuesday, 24 July 2007 09:52 (eighteen years ago)

"wings" is really good

sunny successor, Tuesday, 24 July 2007 14:16 (eighteen years ago)

is he a right-wing vigilante?

name of thread implies that he is a cat, so yes. Also an inveterate rapist prone to incredibly sadistic homicidal acts whenever confronted with bugs, birds, fish or rodents.

El Tomboto, Tuesday, 24 July 2007 14:23 (eighteen years ago)

i like okra but for some reason i feel that'd be better suited for a female kitty.

tehresa, Tuesday, 24 July 2007 14:42 (eighteen years ago)

ten years pass...

Ivan has been my best friend for nearly twelve years. I can barely remember living in the city without him. He has been struggling with health problems for a year and a half now, and today we said goodbye. Totally heartbroken.

ian, Wednesday, 11 April 2018 20:44 (seven years ago)

ian i'm sorry. you got ivan a few years before i got my tuxedo pal but he reminds me of her from pictures. i know he was great. he had the best twelve years. r.i.p.
