well, depending on the guest you might not do badly with the food court in grand central. if it's an out of towner, and someone with whom you're more interested in catching up with than anything else, then it would probably be fine. if the weather holds, perhaps you could get some bits from the various stalls in grand central market and have an outdoor lunch. not exactly value prices, but you can get great cheeses, breads, etc.

i ate/am eating this sandwich... it was a bad choice. sounded really good at first--mozarella, ham, pepperoni, basil, onion & avocado. HOWEVER, i had no idea it was going to be a HOT sandwich.. so all the meat & the onions & basil were hacked up and grilled so it's impossibly oily. bummer. the beer i got is really good though.
