avg height of us females seems to be either slightly under 5'4" or slightly over that - sources vary. so 4-5 inches above average is "tall" but in no way abnormal or freakish. sorry this is a sore topic??

When I was in college I was hanging out with a kid for a while who was probably 5'2" or 5'3" but broke it off. He accused me of doing so because of his height. While it wasn't JUST that I have to admit that it made me feel really self-conscious because it was such a big diff. I felt like a giant. :-(

He rode his bicycle to my dorm and was like, "It's because I'm short, isn't it?!" It was so sad (but also pretty funny).
