i'd like to give a shoutout to alphonso mangos, available for a super-short window but tasting unlike any other mango in the world, perhaps the best fruit i have ever tried, and which i ate like a dozen of this weekend. i bought a box.

I've never been down with the soggy, oversized, low-sodium "ribbed-for-your-pleasure"-style french fries they serve at seafood restaurants. potatoes are best when they're either deep-fried to a greasy oblivion or barely futzed with at all. it's the middle ground I can't deal with, afaik.

Dudes, I made a "sandwich kit" which is a tupperware container just the right size to hold a plum tomato, two slices of oversized sourdough, a foil-wrapped roll of sliced meat, jars of mayo and Colman's, and everything else I need on a sandwich, with a couple of lettuce leaves laid over top. It takes up more space in le totebag, but my sandwiches are fresh and not soggy, EVERY SINGLE DAY. I thank this invention.

I tend to drink orange juice with a shot or two of lemon juice in & definitely not from concentrate.

Prefer Apple & mango juice these days anyway.

Used to drink a lot of Sqeez Grapefruit juice but not come across a not from concentrate brand so far. & I think that had added sugar too, as did their Cranberry and Blueberry juices. Trying to avoid added sugar in my juices.

Have taken to eating full grapefruits at breaktime, just peeling them like an orange.

Still fuckin with the celery salt. So good on fried eggs!
