It looks a little f'd up right now cause I napped on it earlier but basically she made it short in the back and thinned it out so it's not so big. I have a lot of hair and it gets heavy. Was also psyched to find out that all the dye is out of my hair and this is my natural color. I had no idea!

i will share: i was seeing an orthopedist for continuing plantar bullshit and surprise first ingrown toenail ever!Shit hurt CONSTANTLY, by last night I couldn't rest a bedsheet on it.Dude took one look and said it would require surgery. I asked when I had to come back and he told me he'd do it now and it would take about ten minutes.he came back with a big fucking needle. coated the big toe in mercurochrome (maybe?) and then hit it with an aerosol spray that froze the area. First shot was pretty smooth, so was second; when he started injecting on the inside of the toe, I had the unpleasant sensation of needle hitting bone and that was NOT cool.So he injects it about five times and there is now blood running down my toe from where he hit the toe wrong and my toe is swollen to about half again in size. I was afraid I was allergic to anaesthetic but doc says, no it's because I pumped your toe full of liquid.He leaves and comes back with a sterile pack that he opens and pulls out what amounts to a scalpel, scissors and pliers. Covers my toe with his hand and says feeling numb and I tell him I'm not feeling anything if he's doing anything and he moves his hand to show he's got the scalpel resting in the bloody fold of my toenail and that's when I stop looking closely and kinda try not to think about it. Took, as he said, about ten minutes. He wrapped the toe in gauze and told me to cope with sandals for a few days and keep myself better with neosporin and antibiotics and not clip my toenails so short again.Walked out with a slight limp.So though the needleplay was not cool, I would not freak out if you need to swing by a specialist and get it did. It's not a real big thing.

what i got yesterday:- diagnosis: probly just lat strain (as i guessed), and not, you know, pinched nerve, spinal shit, cancer, liver failure, etc. (lol)- hipster LA korean bbq tacos some kinda quesadilla (eh, it was interesting enough, but nothing special)- to see the Western photo show at the MoMA before it closed- awesome lunch at MoMA: tuna tremezzini w/ olive and lemon, seasonal bean-herb salad, grapefruit juice- Aleve (I don't want to know about the stuff that's harder than this)
what i did not get yesterday:- into David Byrne and some Two Boots Brooklyn dinner I'd looked forward to (but I assumed that risk and it was fun enough from outside despite being a bit of a shitshow)
