Schaub has been a really good starting qb for five(?) seasons in Houston, and after a less than stellar end of last season and beginning of this one they turn on him? These people remember David Carr, right?

brady: "If we score six points this weekend, we probably won’t win." yeah probably. i think New England has to score over 24 to beat the saints. i don't see it. i'm gonna miss the game sunday but if i have to miss one, i'm not too sad about it being this.
i have a weird feeling the bears will lose at home to the giants tomorrow and all of a sudden they will be 3-3 after starting 3-0, and in some kind of crisis.
lions vs cleveland will be interesting for sure, i can't really see detroit not winning but what if they don't...
the money half of the afc west will continue roll. chargers might force a shoot out against the colts, that would be fun mnf. DC vs cowboys is a surprising primetime game. hey that might even be interesting, i wonder if dallas's defense will be back from their bye week.
some turd on the slate too. after early season overexposure for both, eagles at bucs will be the 1pm game redzone forgets about.

Texans are stuck in that same spot when Delhomme just fell apart a few years ago, they really don't have any other options that really is an improvement at this point. That said, I would not be surprised if Schaub turns around, his completion percentage is still pretty good, it's more about just keeping from throwing pick sixes.
Peyton Manning has had some runs like that where he was throwing quite a few TDs to the opposition, including a weird spell the year before he got hurt. You chuck it around 40+ times a game, it can happen.
The thing as a fan you don't really know is how many of those picks was because the receiver did something stupid and Schaub was throwing a timing pass to a spot. That happens quite a bit in the modern passing game with all the timing patterns etc.

Last week 10-4, season 53-24
Giants at Bears- I'm going Bears but I don't feel solid on it.Bengals at Bills- Bengals should win, but they sometimes play stupid enough to lose. They got to win these type games.Lions at Browns- Wow, this is kind of a pickem. I got a feeling the Lions have more firepower, but picking Detroit to win on the road is just dicey. I'm going to go Cleveland and just hope their D can contain Detroit's passing game.Packers at Ravens- I'll take the Packers, but they are starting to get banged up as B-more seems to be figuring it out.Panthers at Vikings- VikingsRams at Texans- Houston to win, as I think they will move the ball well against the Rams.Raiders at Chiefs- Chiefs but I hope the Raiders knock them off. Chiefs/Raiders in Arrowhead is usually an entertaining game.Steelers at Jets- This game is a trap. Jets have had some success, but the Steelers are coming off a bye. Pittsburgh to win.Eagles at Buccanners- Eagles are knicked up and going with a backup QB, but I got a feeling the Bucs are pretty damn close to going into operation shutdown mode on their head coach. Philly.Jaguars at Broncos- Broncos. I got a feeling the Jags will play over their heads and it will be closer than you think. They always got up to play Indy when Peyty was there. Of course, J-ville also had one of the best defensive lines in football back then too and Indy could never stop the run.Titans at Seahawks- SeahawksSaints at Patriots- I'm picking Saints, but I got a feeling those tricky Pats will somehow win.Cardinals at 49ers- Niners, but I wonder at what point does the passing inefficiency become a real problem.Washington at Cowboys- Dallas should win. What the heck happened to D'sr defense last week? They got freakin' shredded. I think Washington was somewhat a scheduling fluke last year, they don't look that good to me on either side of the ball.Colts at Chargers- Colts should win, but at least with the old QB Indy had problems every time they played the Chargers. Colts games against Seattle and SF were really, really impressive. Kind of a bummer they lost Bradshaw, as he was fitting in pretty good in what they were doing.
I got to say, the whole Thursday game is a bummer in some ways, as it just comes too quick every week for many people to do picks etc.

At age 8, he witnessed his older brother being struck and killed by a drunk driver while riding his bike.As a teenager, Peterson’s father was sentenced to 10 years in prison for laundering drug money. ― call all destroyer, Sunday, 13 October 2013 21:25 (twelve years ago)
i think aqib's coaching instructions for the week were "kick jimmy graham's ass"
― call all destroyer, Sunday, 13 October 2013 21:26 (twelve years ago)
it's funny though the entire narrative of this graham-talib thing would be a lot different if brees had thrown the ball to graham when he was open in the end zone by 4 yards on their scoring drive
― J0rdan S., Sunday, 13 October 2013 21:27 (twelve years ago)
oh sure. i'm not saying the job is done but clearly the goal was to hit him, and keep hitting him.
― call all destroyer, Sunday, 13 October 2013 21:28 (twelve years ago)
manning out. schaub in
― Roberto Spiralli, Sunday, 13 October 2013 21:29 (twelve years ago)
lolllll denver
― J0rdan S., Sunday, 13 October 2013 21:30 (twelve years ago)
the stupidest thing about rob ryan's gameplan in this game is that from my vantage point it seems like the saints' front four this year is the best it has been in years
― J0rdan S., Sunday, 13 October 2013 21:34 (twelve years ago)
brees what are you doing pal
― call all destroyer, Sunday, 13 October 2013 21:35 (twelve years ago)
brees just had another guy open on the second level but dumped off
he's playing so weirdly horrible
― J0rdan S., Sunday, 13 October 2013 21:39 (twelve years ago)
Belichik getting in his head
― Moodles, Sunday, 13 October 2013 21:39 (twelve years ago)
woooooooo that's a terrible call
― J0rdan S., Sunday, 13 October 2013 21:40 (twelve years ago)
ooh bad call refs
― Roberto Spiralli, Sunday, 13 October 2013 21:40 (twelve years ago)
the pats should have to forfeit the game for falling for that imo
that's a home field call
no two people have ever had less chemistry than troy aikman and papa john
― J0rdan S., Sunday, 13 October 2013 21:42 (twelve years ago)
maybe colin kapernick and joe flacco
high % completion, 3 passing TDs...total 117 yards. that's so sam bradford.
― Roberto Spiralli, Sunday, 13 October 2013 21:46 (twelve years ago)
wasn't that game largely decided by turnovers?
― Neanderthal, Sunday, 13 October 2013 21:46 (twelve years ago)
QBs against Tampa Bay so far this year and their Passer rating: Geno Smith (road game) 80.6, Drew Brees (home game) 67.5, Tom Brady (road game) 92.9, Carson Palmer (home game) 62.2, Nick Foles (home game coming off of a bye) 133.3
― Mordy , Sunday, 13 October 2013 21:50 (twelve years ago)
need a gif of the pats lineman who got turned in circles by the fake on that play
― Roberto Spiralli, Sunday, 13 October 2013 22:08 (twelve years ago)
wow brees is off
― Roberto Spiralli, Sunday, 13 October 2013 22:10 (twelve years ago)
7 points is way too close for my taste
― Moodles, Sunday, 13 October 2013 22:11 (twelve years ago)
amendola should've been a foot taller on that play
― Roberto Spiralli, Sunday, 13 October 2013 22:16 (twelve years ago)
every play in the seattle/tenn game seems to be crazy
― Roberto Spiralli, Sunday, 13 October 2013 22:19 (twelve years ago)
Oh great, Talib is injured
― Moodles, Sunday, 13 October 2013 22:20 (twelve years ago)
goodnight danny. saints have been looking for the big hit on him and edelman.
― Roberto Spiralli, Sunday, 13 October 2013 22:37 (twelve years ago)
It was nice to have Amendola back for 1 1/4 games
― Moodles, Sunday, 13 October 2013 22:37 (twelve years ago)
Amendola just got knocked the fuck to sleep
― One Way Ticket on the 1277 Express (Bill Magill), Sunday, 13 October 2013 22:37 (twelve years ago)
jesus, amendola
― 乒乓, Sunday, 13 October 2013 22:37 (twelve years ago)
How many patriots will survive this game?
― Moodles, Sunday, 13 October 2013 22:38 (twelve years ago)
lot of 'performance bonuses' for saints players today
― Roberto Spiralli, Sunday, 13 October 2013 22:39 (twelve years ago)
Bush will get fined for the hit on amendola which will be an injustice cuz his head was a foot off the ground at impact. Clean hit.
― One Way Ticket on the 1277 Express (Bill Magill), Sunday, 13 October 2013 22:42 (twelve years ago)
i would be surprised, it was obviously clean
― Roberto Spiralli, Sunday, 13 October 2013 22:44 (twelve years ago)
Agree completely
― One Way Ticket on the 1277 Express (Bill Magill), Sunday, 13 October 2013 22:49 (twelve years ago)
how can NO keep getting a 5th rusher so free? it's not like they are sending the house every time
― Roberto Spiralli, Sunday, 13 October 2013 22:49 (twelve years ago)
Jags helmet fade looks like a homemade mod a high school would come up with to be rad.
― oh shit you psyched yourself into liking mbv (Hunt3r), Sunday, 13 October 2013 22:50 (twelve years ago)
how can 12 men penalty offset against an active play penalty??
― Roberto Spiralli, Sunday, 13 October 2013 22:53 (twelve years ago)
lame
― Roberto Spiralli, Sunday, 13 October 2013 22:56 (twelve years ago)
Handoff to Bouldin is a pretty weak call in that situation
― Moodles, Sunday, 13 October 2013 22:57 (twelve years ago)
totally
― Roberto Spiralli, Sunday, 13 October 2013 22:57 (twelve years ago)
What happened to Fitzgerald on that play. Bizarre fumble.
― One Way Ticket on the 1277 Express (Bill Magill), Sunday, 13 October 2013 23:02 (twelve years ago)

at least he gets to the point that r**skins is a slur finally
snyder HAS to know he's got to change the name soon, right? after obama even said something and now it's on the sunday night football where costas tries really hard to fill out his commentary with references to other team names and excuses for anyone who supports it and still winds up saying outright that it's a slur and an insult
