This was an old school boring game Superbowl. I had a similar experience watching Superbowl XVIII as a kid where I fell asleep right before the game started and woke up in the third quarter and the game was over.

Yeah I actually was gonna say that the game I mentioned above was the first time I remember just being like "This is boring, fuck it" during a super bowl. I had had a pretty good run of most super bowls featuring teams I liked (Bears, http://images.chron.com/blogs/askacat/hatcat.JPG, Giants) and the fact that that one was a disgusting blowout just added to it.

seattle can run the ball and by the time the playoffs come around they'll have percy back and will have a group of WRs who can make plays on the ball. i don't see how they couldn't control the clock while also putting up some points on denver.

and i think if you're gonna slow down denver, having the best secondary in the nfl and an array of pass rushers is a pretty good place to start

Legion of Boom went from great to scary great last night if what they're saying is true.

Seattle is pretty much loaded, probably one of the best all around clubs in a while. If they can keep it together and not lose too many pieces to free agency and are able to keep reloading, they should be pretty much set for the next couple of seasons.

Denver got a lot of crap for getting beat in the Superbowl, but really they never were the favorites back in the day.

No one gave them a shot in heck against the Niners in 1990, I swear I think the spread was something like 27 or 28 points for SF going into the game and they covered it. That Niners club was probably their best one, they were just loaded everywhere. They won their three playoff games by a combined total of 126-23, annihilating everything in their path.
