Photo project ideas please!

My last mad photo project was to take pictures of early 20th century ceramic streetplates in my hometown. http://www.flickr.com/photos/treefell/sets/72157603606689690/
I thought it would be interesting to capture a complete set of something unique to where I'm from but is a limited number so it doesn't take forever.

Is there something quirky about where you're based that you could capture? I dunno, it's something to think about anyway.

My pictures? Yeah, all off the nifty fifty.

It does wide-open, dyao. It gets a bit pentagonal when you step down.

treefell; those are really nice; not sure Exeter has anything quite that inviting but I'll have a think.

haha yeah, what I remember most about that lens was its pentagonal bokeh xp

you could do some standard intro to photo projects - i.e. photograph shadows, black and white...

or you could do a pic a day photoblog - force yourself to go out and take pictures each day so as to have something to post

(you don't really need to use a leica. the principle is the same: one camera, one lens, shoot x many photos a week, develop a print every 100 photos or whatever...)
