BTW jergins, I don't know how closely you follow the league but Seattle took Fire mid Stephen "The Author" King in the expansion draft -- a good choice.

Oh good christ, I saw some shit about that. The author of that blog is a class A moron. He's a self-styled "hooligan" and I'm not even kidding. His supporter group is called "Huds0n Str33t H00ligans", like after the shitty shitty Elijah Wood movie... He also got his nose bloodied by some S8ers when he and some of his punk friends tried to start a fight. Then they ran away.

jergins, do you have season tickets? It's surprising how many have been sold. I hope that the majority are not just seeking a novelty, but stick with the team. The league needs fans like that.

According to the internet, this afternoon Vancouver will be announced as the next expansion city.

The more I care about my team's results, the less fun it is to be a fan of this sport. Now I understand why Ben used to try and dissuade people instead of encouraging them to come to games. This is a lifetime of hurt, isn't it.
