continued on from can't think of a good title: SPFL 2020/2021

《Myst1kOblivi0n》 (jim in vancouver), Tuesday, 3 August 2021 20:35 (four years ago)

When I look at Celtic - which I try to avoid tbh - I just see Le Guen-era Rangers.

shhh

《Myst1kOblivi0n》 (jim in vancouver), Wednesday, 4 August 2021 17:28 (four years ago)

don't think we have any chance in the league this season. dont mind ange as far as i can tell - like him bamming up the press - but i feel he's on a hiding to nothing as there was too much of a rebuild needed.

feels funny to be happy that joe hart has signed for us. always thought he was a hugely overrated big haddy and a bit of a dick - love him now of course - but he's such a huge improvement over what we had.

james mccarthy signing almost pissed me off, should've signed him over a decade ago, when he was playing for hamilton, cunts a tim from castlemilk ffs.

《Myst1kOblivi0n》 (jim in vancouver), Wednesday, 4 August 2021 17:32 (four years ago)

i seem to remember we didn't take on mccarthy as a youth because he was too wee. which also boils the blood. neanderthal scottish football men

Pretty good results for Scottish teams so far - Hibs could do with a goal though.

not often Celtic and rangers drop points on the same day. although Celtic not winning away is getting to be quite a predictable occurrence.

that felt magic yesterday. didn't even manage to watch it (was working) but just checking the score and then watching the highlights were a joy.

Qamon (||||||||), Saturday, 5 February 2022 00:13 (four years ago)

《Myst1kOblivi0n》 (jim in vancouver), Saturday, 5 February 2022 00:29 (four years ago)

So, as per fucking usual, Celtic are going to have to beat Rangers on their own as none of these other numpties are up to the task.

Bastards of Fish (Tom D.), Sunday, 6 February 2022 23:07 (four years ago)

hearts looked pretty good in both second halves against celtic (at parkhead and tynecastle) - can rarely rely on them to do a job against the rangers II though

celtic just need to take it one game at a time - still think they'll drop more points. thankfully getting a bit more depth back for the bench - some finds this year in CCV, jota, o'riley, hatate, kyogo, jura and the new firmware updates we signed for rogic and bitton

Awesome. I'm not that surprised though, Dundee has always been fairly free of Orange bastards, unusually for Scotland. They're more into Tangerine than Orange... apart from the marmalade, of course.

It doesn't look like a penalty even in slow motion but when you freeze frame it kind of does? The VAR officials have more camera angles though.

Clarinet Cop (Tom D.), Wednesday, 13 May 2026 22:03 (six days ago)

It's exactly the kind of pishy penalty given after multiple VAR views and I suspect wouldn't be getting this much bollocks spouted about unfairness if it had happened in the 64th rather than he 94th minute. Them's the breaks.

They'll beat us on Saturday.

ailsa, Wednesday, 13 May 2026 22:30 (six days ago)

Absolutely loving the pivot to how Celtic have apparently become the establishment team that the refs all fall over themselves to give penalties to. Mind when *we* were the paranoid ones?
