James Milner was crazily overpriced but he looks alright this season, and by all accounts is a good sort (compare his last game with Villa to Lescott's swansong for Everton).

I interviewed Jens, he was a total gent. Incredibly tedious interview tho, his "tip for the title was"..."you cannot say right now, but perhaps in 10 games we will then have a better idea". You'd think I asked him to put 50 grand on it.

I have a massive irrational hatred of Ross Tokeley who plays for Inverness Caley Thistle, but I can't really attribute any reasons to it. i have a lot of footballer loathign to spread around but i reserve a special loathing for gordon strachan and craig bellamy who, apart from both seemign to be cunts in their own right, were the two people who finally got cov relegated. strachan has always been a hack charlatan as a manager and i am delighted that he has finally been thoroughly outed as such. bellamy was where most of the money we got from inter for robbie keane went, and so the club's most significant investment, and he was brilliantly misused as a winger by strachan. true to his great character, bellamy responded to this by standing by the touchline with his hands on his hips for the entire season. strachan had neither the brains to play the guy in the right fucking position or the balls to drop the big signing, so we played the whole season as a reasonably talented but poorly managed 10 man team, and naturally went down. that the context of this was a wild cash gamble on squad and stadium to solidify a position in the money league made it an even more of a destructive shitpile, and both strachan and bellamy hightailed it out before the stink got into their pores. but the good news is, nine years later at least i am not bitter about it anymore.

i would definitely like to add the ricoh arena to the hate list. horrific ground.
