TS: Blackpool v Wolves

For ages, it seemed like Blackpool were this year's lovable underdogs - but in recent weeks, a combination of Big Mick's permanent dourness, Big George Elokobi's winning smile, the end of Man U's unbeaten run and Blackpool signing James Beattie seems to suggest a turning of the tide.

So the question - which of the two would you be most upset to see go down?

wolves are extremely small for a relegation scrappy, they seem to be a mix of psychos (henry, hunt) and 'game lads' (c) john giles describing every irish fringe player ever, big george seems to be a rare exception

how about berra?

nakhchivan, Tuesday, 8 March 2011 17:10 (fourteen years ago)

blackpool not exactly tearing it up in the bigness stakes either but they do have at least one hyperbig in the form of marlon harewood

nakhchivan, Tuesday, 8 March 2011 17:17 (fourteen years ago)

Berra never looks big to me, never commands either box, too much time with daft little pulls getting bookings when he doesn't need to. Stearman to cultured to be big. Zubar is legit big as is big George, Jody was big I think RIP dude

It's quite impressive that he manages to be so big while being the same height as Ashley Young

wolves any day. Blackpool's 'playing the right way' is no more than their full backs playing 1-2's with their centre backs while poor dj howls like a forlorn wookie forty yards from the nearest midfielder. And holloway's incessant soapboxing on the most stupid topics is really starting to grate

Wolves have mick, kevin and noodle. And they play decent stuff, with wingers.
