Krasic - token eastern european as neither Modric or Arshavin had great years

No one who watched VDV play for Spurs from January through until the end of the season could in good conscience vote for him here. Modric has had a way better year than VDV, last few games notwithstanding.

evra was v much a token choice - made the cl final, won the league, boring player.

vdv was because sneijder made the actual list, no because he had a good year. reputation counts more than form most of the time - think of how many times gerrard has made the master list.

btw Hulk is both bigger and more of a skillz player than Falcao, by far. And Lavezzi is much better than Hamsik.

I have started hearing a lot about Doumbia, never knowingly seen him though. Lavezzi is supposedly dope but looks kinda anonymous every time I see him.

Well Messi is the greatest player in the history of the game, so not that good. But good enough to win their teams the league when they weren't expected to do jack and inspire players around them that were good into looking great, sure. Both are on a very select list of outstanding players that any football fan wants to see fulfill their potential over the next ten years w/ Wilshere, Neymar, Bale and Muller and could give Messi or Ronaldo a run for their money if either has an off season (you know, one where they both only score 40 goals a season instead of 60 each.)

gotze is pretty amazing on his day and is the youngest of all those
