no, instead what is your favourite type of player you like to watch the most? a clever sweeper? a hard working destroyer? a goal hanging no. 9? a shouty goalkeeper who only has to save 1 shot a game and spends the other 89 minutes putting the fear of god into his back 4?

and why? was there a great footballer of this type who played for yr team? was it some exotic type you only saw once a year and wished you could see more of? did you try to play this way down the park?

my local team has a d-mid that is such a joy to watch. he's incredibly strong on the ball, breaks up tackles like nobody, rarely gets disposessed, can shoot from distance. i never really appreciated that role until i saw him play it. i am only a few years into my serious viewing of the game, and outside the obvious (keepers, forwards, wingers) his role is the first that has really ~spoken~ to me. i always notice his counterparts (and their inferiority) on other teams now.
