kagawa is the player i've seen the most.
oscar was excellent in brazil's olympic team in the games before the semi-final.
hazard i have v little idea about.
i think cazorla is the best of a v good bunch.

I picked Oscar because he's excited me most at first glance, though I don't really know Cazorla.

These do seem like a different breed of players for the epl, in that none of them are particularly 'name' players but all are really high quality. In earlier times we'd've been overpaying for your Zlatans while this lot quietly headed off to win things in Italy and Spain.

i think oscar will be the best eventually, but this season kagawa or cazorla will have the biggest impact.

eden hazard is a name player, more than anyone from the french league in recent years except maybe benzema

cazorla is a wonderful player, v unselfish, ambidextruous, a great combination player although apart from wilshere, arteta, arshavin there aren't really any players there who could really benefit from that multiplier effect of the technopygmy hivemind

hazard's future is a wing-forward predominantly....he is the fastest of the four, the flashiest, and should become the best in that position in the league

oscar would then be the most central for most of the time when playing with hazard and mata.....contrary to some reports i read oscar showed he was quite fast vs wigan, probably as fast as arshavin, so he should be a threat on the counter-atttack

however he definitely appears to be the most pure #10 of the four, and as such has possibly the highest ceiling....he is better than david silva was at that age, but for the medium term it's the usual worries about slightness of build, tougher competition, cold winters and all that shit

kagawa i haven't seen enough of, but it looks like he will be playing as a tucked-in winger rather than centrally....he looks very good in all aspects and should be at least as good as nasri, say

michu deserves a mention. the guy is a ninja.

Michael B Higgins (Michael B), Monday, 3 September 2012 00:58 (twelve years ago)

Hernandez could turn out to be an even better signing than Michu.

Matt DC, Monday, 3 September 2012 15:05 (twelve years ago)

would've voted cazorla but forgot.

that was achieved last season and his productivity is now approaching 06/07 ronaldo territory

he looks like a shithead sometimes, 'good arrogance' i suppose

think he would have got to this level if ferguson was still there but partly he was bought because he was cheap with 1yr on contract and there was never a serious effort to maximize his talents, which carried over to the new, shit regime

needs to go somewhere else with a more advanced manager and play #10 again

answered all of those questions and is already the best mourinhista defensive attacking midfielder around and a lethal counterattacking player but i'd like to see him show better efficiency with the final pass, maybe he needs a better #9 to make the runs

suspect hazard has a higher ceiling though

and now a much more dangerous finisher than he was in spain but now even though arsenal now have ozil, gnabry and nu-ramsey, injuries have prevented them from developing that multiplier effect
