already got 10 this year, in a team that's not winning every game.

no tbf he's doing well- tho i'd argue they've intermittently created lots of chances but not scored, and i've seen recent games where he's as guilty of that as anyone

i agree, but my theory is if a guy is scoring say 10 from 13 or 14 games then he can't actually do a great deal better, even if he's missing chances. i mean just cos nobody does that much better than that.

his scoring can be a bit clustered but he is improving too, i think.

Arsene Wenger believes the talented Uruguay forward can inspire Arsenal to the Premier League title and has consequently sanctioned an offer for him in excess of a club-record £40million.

Wayne Rooney is filth. Sub human filth. There is not one single positive thing about his character. He's what he is - a knobhead from a rough part of Liverpool who is good at football. He is the scrapings of dog shite on the edge of a kerb. Even when he walks he has a neanderthal gait.

He epitomizes the last decade of "We're Man Utd, we'll do what we want" and his smug celebration at Chelsea a few weeks ago shows that he thinks he's above the law and above reproach. No doubt he'll appeal and the FA will resume to their bend over job and reduce it to one game. He'll probably score the winner against Man City in that semi and stand with his alarms aloft, basically saying, "look at me, I can do what I want" again. Just utter, utter vermin.

Wayne Rooney has shown his team-mates how to behave just days after three Manchester United players were fined for their antics on a night out in Manchester city centre.

The England striker was out for a meal at Wing's Restaurant in Manchester on Tuesday night with his agent Paul Stretford, but was back in his chauffeur driven car just after 11pm.

Earlier in the week, Danny Welbeck, Tom Cleverley and Ashley Young received extra punishment for being spotted in Manchester at 3.20am, dancing on the street and chatting up girls outside the Sakura nightclub.

"Everyone knows Wayne is not the sort of person, with his Liverpool accent, who is going to be able to stand up in front of a lecture room of people," Hodgson said.

"But he doesn't need to. All he has to do is make certain the players he is talking to understand where he is coming from.

"They can transmit that passion to a lot of those younger players. They can get their points across. They won't do it maybe quite as eloquently as someone like myself could, but that doesn't matter."
