Knighton’s artwork has received high praise. The general public are very enthusiastic and complimentary about Knighton’s artwork , but , art connoisseurs and fine art experts – wax positively lyrical. Indeed, Tim Kendrew, former senior executive of internationally renowned Christies the fine art auctioneers and who previously headed-up Christies auction house in Sydney and Melbourne , his father , Major General Sir Douglas Kendrew , the one time England Rugby Union Captain – was the Governor of Western Australia said:

Shame dude didn't write his own blurb imo. In the style of 'No State Surrender' would've been best

Pointless to re-post here in its entirety, but 'No State Surrender' really is a treasure. Well alright, just a bit:

A Passionate Citizen That Would Rather Consume Recently Evacuated Dog Excrement That Clings To A Broken Stick, Swarming In Fat Blue-Bottle Flies ( It Tastes Better) – Than For Me To Surrender To The Machine With Its Data Induced Robotic, Door Knocking ‘Civil Servants’ Of The Grasping Thieving Monolithic State. Or The Secret Eavesdropping On My Email , My Telephone Calls , My Faxes , My Thoughts , My Blogger , My Twitter, My Heart, My Soul, My Everthing

Holy shit

Should've been a poll. With an 'all of the above' option.

Michael Knighton has written over three thousand poems.

this is many more than most so-called "poets" ever manage

If only his takeover had gone through, it's the saddest 'path not taken' there is

June 9:

You Have Hoovered Up All Intellectual Life From Every Fibre Of My Being. Sucked At My Soul Until My Heart Bleeds, Drunk In The Last Of My Blood Like Some Ancient Mythical Vampire. Left Me, Here, With A Nothingness, A Darkness – Where Not Even The Blind Can See. A Head Full Of Hugger Mugger Muddle And A Pen Dry Of Creative Tropes, And, Eyes With Over Stretched, Worn Out Trochlear Nerves And A Psyche On The Brink Of Insanity. And For What? Because I Would Not, Will Not, Kowtow To Your All-Embracing Will. Your Crushing Need For Control, Your Unquenchable Thirst For Data About Me.

June 12:

It is staggering that some people feel that the intelligence agencies should not be attempting to closely follow ( and track) by way of intercepting all and every possible means of communication , phone calls, texts, emails, faxes , etc, of those individuals who are a potential threat to our country and its people – even if that means the rest of us surrender a degree of our own privacy.
