thanks everyone! delivery was pretty intense but my wife was a champ. there were stitches and blood loss and so it might be a few days before they can come home - will be going to visit them in a couple of hours and hopefully we’ll have a clearer idea of the timeline soon. i expect the kitty reaction might be equally intense - might be more nervous about that than anything else tbh

thanks all! i have been lucky so far to avoid any morning sickness/nausea but I do want to sleep 24/7. like just having to go to the kitchen to put my dishes in the sink makes me want to lie down.
at least I’m mostly working from home now so lots and lots of naps - cannot imagine doing this pre-pandemic
