Is there any real medical type reason not to paint a 2 y/os toenails. kid is mad jealous of my rockstar pink sparkley toes.

As far as I'm aware, no. Nail varnish shd be non-toxic and nails are reasonably impermeable anyway. I'd do it.

Friend of a friend's kid dressed up a Ziggy Stardust for Hollowween, painted her finger/toenails, did not die. So go for it.

You know those little shelving units of Sanrio stuff that would be placed in the middle of other stores, like gift or toy shops? Those Star Twins characters used to have a line of child-safe "make-up", including nail polish that you could peel-off when you were tired of it. Do they still make that? I wonder....
