The Don Campbell one is a funk record. He was a Soul Train dancer who did a dance called the Lock.

The Goodees one is a knockout. Not on Youtube, unfortunately. Closest thing I could compare it to is maybe the Feminine Complex.

i like the goodees album. "condition red" was their big one.

I'd like to have everything on Hip records!

this was from that one guy's semi-permanent weekend stoop sale at 7th and Union. he's a little bit overpriced but usually has some good stuff.

i got a few things from the park place stoop sale -- it was my buddy miggy selling some of his excess stock. he's an ebay dealer mostly. i didn't get anything for myself, but some stuff to flip at the brooklyn flea record fair in a few weeks

in brooklyn. weird day. it's a place i don't think i've EVER found records before and usually just check in cuz it's near some other places and sometimes has books i want.

sacc trust album is in what i would consider VG shape on the B side and VG+ on the A side; there is what looks like a bit of groove wear on the last two tracks, some light scuffing etc. i can play it and give you more info if yer interested. cover has a bit of corner creasing and a punch hole.

what's the packaging on Nascimento like?

The outer sleeve is a giant oval poster folded into six "squares." The inner sleeve folds, too, but there's no printing on it, and inside is:

- another inner sleeve with the record
- a seven inch
- several colored cards with printing on them about the songs

After you unfold it, folding it all back is like folding a map. It always wants to get fat.

oh boy i wish youd asked me before u spent money on oquisha paradox. i think that shit is a requisite mistake for all norcal records people to make.

I saw Mark Kozelek last night and got the last of what I guess were some leftover copies of Among The Leaves.

$20. Considering what they've fetched for on ebay since selling out straight from the label, I'm ecstatic.

The show was incredible too despite some real assholes in the audience.
