What will eventually happen to the thousands of copies of "Chinese Democracy" Vinyl currently rotting on the shelves of a Best Buy near you?

This keeps me awake at night.

they will eventually be really collectible i'll bet. but not for a long time. the fact that nobody is buying them now doesn't mean anything. if they start selling them for five bucks buy a couple. i wish i could go back in time and buy the 50 copies of paul's boutique that strawberrys was selling for 99 cents way back when. or neil young's dead man soundtrack! 3rd street jazz in philly had loads of those for 2 or 3 bucks apiece! oh well.

yeah i keep waiting for the shoe to drop and for them to be on mega sale but they just keep holding on and on and on

ten dollars seems to be what people want to pay on ebay now. which is a just and sane price. hell, i might even buy it if i saw it in a store for ten bucks. i'd buy a lot of new stuff for ten bucks that i wouldn't buy otherwise. i miss the 90's when new vinyl was ten bucks and new CDs were 17.99. i felt so smart.
