Anybody know any resources to find out about the worth of old records? My uncle gave me a record of Enrico Caruso from 1903 in perfect condition.

put it on ebay and see how much it sells for. then you'll know what it's worth! seriously though, these days, selling something is sometimes the only way to figure out what something is worth.
also, make sure you can find out everything you can about the record via search engines/google. investigate. look for other copies that have sold.

five seconds on the internet tells me that someone in 2008 sold 11 caruso records from 1903 in "good" condition for 300 dollars. that will give you some idea. however, maybe you've got the only copy of whatever your record is. who knows? it's not likely, but you never know.

completed eBay listings
Discogs or Gemm listings (these are usually a little bit inflated)
Popsike website, sometimes

collectorsfrenzy.com is a good resource too. same gist as popsike--prices of old ebay auctions--but seems a bit more thorough? also their homepage is a neat display of the highest records on ebay that day.

Popsike website, at all times!
Srsly, tells you how much it's worth *now*, as well as "a few years ago", it's based on old e-bay auctions.
Need to read 'between the lines', but it's a great resource.

I sometimes go to this site to check on things. Its a neat site from Portland and seems to have a lot of older records and prices, etc. to maybe help one out.

i hate popsike, it's like someone telling me "you're never going to own this record, give up."
like, one guy got the ted lucas album for $40, that'd never be me. he sells them for $100 on his own site.

this guy packages records very very well. he's overpriced in many cases, though.
