Right now I'm really digging on a live album apocalyptic British blues punk band The Coyote Men. They're British guys pretending to be Americans pretending to be Mexican. It's a picture disc called EL MASKARADO LP and it looks awesome (I'll take a pic tonight) and sounds like the kind of thing the shantytown band would be playing from atop the garbage heap in Robert Rodriguez's remake of Mad Max. Stage banter includes "I AM JERRY LEE LEWIS'S BASTARD LOVE CHILD"
For today it's my favorite record ever. What's yours?

mantronix - got to have your love 12 inch. played it three times today. i put it out for sale, but i no longer own a copy, and i might need to keep it. i played it like crazy when it came out and it's so good to hear again. (club version with bonus beats is my jam) i hate to say that it's the last great mantronix single, but it's the last single that i LOVE. you know?
