xian 70's kids make concept folk album about lesser-known biblical character. hand made cover complete with black tape and purple felt and paint and magic marker! i was digging it earlier. proto-danielson famile, kinda. all the music was written by the dibble family! peter, peggy, laura, and loraine dibble!

anyway, if you ever get a record that is completely undocumented on the web you can post a picture here.

two weeks pass...

these are obv not "completely undocumented" records but check out the hand-drawn covers:

someone made their own paul hardcastle album cover!! that's awesome. does it actually have the rain forest record in it?

that's actually a really good idea. i might run with that. make covers for rap singles i have in the store and sell them as art!

the rainforest LP is inside. same with blueprint, which is a bad hi-nrg song btw. i found them on two separate trips to Amoeba SF. i wonder how many more covers the artist did.

scott: that'd be a great use for worthless dollar-bin stuff as discussed in the "pathos of unsold stock" thread!

a friend brought me a very weird hand-drawn ballpoint record from Spain that he found being sold on somebody's doorstep but I think it got lost when we moved house :(
