did you guys know that scorpio has pressings of the first(?) three tony joe records? i had no idea. i have originals of two of 'em, but nice to have a cheap copy of black & white until i can upgrade.

Just heard New Beginnings for the first time this morning, first I've ever heard by Larry Jon Wilson. SO GOOD! Of course the first person it reminded me of was Tony Joe White, so this thread made me laugh, but his voice kinda reminds me of J.J. Cale a little too? I don't know; fantastic record, though!
