hey i'm dumb and can't seem to swap this grado stylus

there's a special replacement tool that i swear never came with my cartridge and i can't get the thing to budge. anybody ever deal with this? pretty afraid of damaging something if i try and caveman it off.

Most of the ones I've dealt with are a little black wedge of plastic with two knobs on the sides that you can just grab and kind of gentle wiggle the thing out. They usually slant back a little bit, so don't grab it and pull it straight down. Don't know what kind of cartridge you've got, though, so...

prestige green or black, i forget. is the angle i wanna pull in line with the angle of the needle? perpendicular?

no the tool thing fits into...probably parallelish with the needle then
