Who'd call a food product such a robotic name anyway? Would Apple call their new computer Wondersoft or Dairy Blend?

One of my good mates/old flatmate is doing rollerderby in Newcastle atm, but she's good value. Its probablu more of a fitness thing for her.

i didn't see all the 4 corners p@cker expose on monday but the second half, with the guy driving paul barry around vega$ pointing out all the casinos and developments that have gone bust (and how many p@cker invested in!) was amazing

racist of the falling leaves (haitch), Tuesday, 13 October 2009 23:59 (fourteen years ago) link

The highlight of the P@cker expose for me was ya boy in the audience at the Sc1encetol0gists Of The Year awards.

Scient0logy really has the skinny on getting to the richest and dumbest. They must have watch lists or something - 'Hey, that guy's obviously a bit thick and very rich - let's smarm him up'.

"THE 200-hectare field near Ararat was meant to be the place where the dreams of two young brothers came to life. Instead, the music festival they staged there on the weekend of September 18 has become the stuff of nightmares, leaving behind a trail of debt and, for the brothers, death threats."

ps: last time I was in Ararat was when I was 12, on the way to school camp in the Grampians (was living in Bendigo at the time you see)

"i find your antics mirthful and infectious" (King Boy Pato), Thursday, 15 October 2009 05:25 (fourteen years ago) link

an ex of mine (from '93) lived in bendigo. went there to visit. haven't been back since.

always used to confuse it with ballarat

racist of the falling leaves (haitch), Thursday, 15 October 2009 05:27 (fourteen years ago) link

ballarat is its dull but better dressed bigger sister

get up and use(rna)me (electricsound), Thursday, 15 October 2009 05:28 (fourteen years ago) link

Farmer David Powne is out of pocket by about $20,000 for hire of his paddock and associated earthworks. Like many businesses The Age spoke to, he was paid half initially, with the promise of the rest at festival's end.

Tristan Gray even wrote a cheque for the outstanding amount, but when Mr Powne attempted to cash it, it bounced.

Ballarat is even lamer and duller, at least Bendigo has a charming weird lurking-serial-killers-in-the-night vibe.

"i find your antics mirthful and infectious" (King Boy Pato), Thursday, 15 October 2009 05:35 (fourteen years ago) link

In any case, these days I only seem to visit Bendigo whenever a family member dies.
