Actually a vegemite chip could be ok, if it were done right.

Bolognese also a good idea! Tho wouldnt it just taste like the old' tomato blast or whatver it was called?

beloved ilx character (King Boy Pato), Thursday, 29 October 2009 06:05 (fourteen years ago) link

someone should make a marmite flavoured emetic, they could just add it to any old cheap placebo.

estela, Thursday, 29 October 2009 06:06 (fourteen years ago) link

I love how they have to call it "lovely marmite", nervously, like it is a serving suggestion as embarrased as that parsley of estela's.

guys i don't feel we're in a position to be slagging marmite, let's just let every world region have their incomprehensible-to-outsiders spreads and perhaps our display of tolerance will end all conflict in the world

lad: "et tu, lady?" (haitch), Thursday, 29 October 2009 06:20 (fourteen years ago) link

Obstensibly goth (but more 'billy/new wave/indie perhaps, I'm not sure) night at Grebt Brit. Theyre doing a Day of the Dead nite. I was gonna dress up but it all seems like so much hassle.

Muso survives eight-metre fall from roof
THOMAS HUNTER
October 30, 2009 - 8:51AM

A visiting international musician who crashed through the roof of a warehouse in Melbourne's north was lucky to escape with his life, say paramedics.

An Ambulance Victoria spokesman said the band member fell through the roof of a warehouse in Sydney Road, Brunswick early today. He fell eight metres onto bicycles and a concrete floor below.

LOL does anyone know who this was??!

i obtain much semillon (Trayce), Thursday, 29 October 2009 22:50 (fourteen years ago) link

checked m&n, they don't seem to know either

quaq quao, sweetie (electricsound), Thursday, 29 October 2009 23:01 (fourteen years ago) link

It is verrrry interesting that names are being kept out of the reporting. That suggests it is someone very well known and they were doing something very stupid.

i obtain much semillon (Trayce), Thursday, 29 October 2009 23:10 (fourteen years ago) link

Either that or hes a nobody backing vocalist in Pinks band or some crap, and no one cares.

estela, Thursday, 29 October 2009 23:16 (fourteen years ago) link

I guess we'll find out when whoever it is cant play their next gig or plays it with a broken arm!

i obtain much semillon (Trayce), Thursday, 29 October 2009 23:26 (fourteen years ago) link

..which reminds me of when I saw the Poppies in 1989 in Canberra and Graham had broken his ankle a day or two earlier at the Sydney show, so he spent the gig sitting on a speaker stack waving his legs around and shouting into a megaphone.
