it's shitty when it's packed, but I've seen some great shows there.

cosign. not completely whelmed by the initial lineup for the festival tbh, not compared to last year (i mean this year), but def looking fwd to the above-mentioned as well as The Books, Toumani Diabate, Trevor Jackson, John Cale....

less whelming than this year is a good thing, it was an expensive month! if the 9am $25 tix booth is in effect I'll probably try a bunch of the white-people-in-recital-hall things. the Circa 1979 day of lectures with Ellard, Cale, Roger Grierson etc will be cool. interested in DJ Yoda's A/V thingy.
