I wonder if anybodys' ever really named their kid "Dookie" - ie, it not being used as a nickname that stuck, but their Christian name....

I once spent a very entertaining afternoon looking through the list of babies' names registered in Scotland last year.

Somewhere in this lovely country of ours, there's a little boy called Sweetie.

i once knew a girl whose name was pronounced "Fartsy".

I knew of a girl called Breezy Mayo

Most perfect stoner posh girl name ever, former roommate's best friend: Solo P3acock.

Solo P3acock should be friends with Felicity Windmill and Cecily Holliday.

It is hilarious and apt namewise because this girl struck me as self-centred, bossy and liable to bouts of anvil-headed West London environmentalism. I wish there was a single word to describe thick blonde posh girls with a crusader mentality and a Daily Mail attitude to any woman she happens to notice, noticing the same man as her.

there was this weird, eccentric (and pretty awesome kid) whose real name was Franz Jean, but he went by John (and of course his last name was pronounced "Zyon"), so essentially his name sounded like John John when the teacher called on him.
