I can honestly say that I've enjoyed the company of ever ILXor I've met and that everyone else mostly seem okay to me.

(At first I mistyped that as 'oaky'. Hmmm.)

No one could describe Michael White as overly oaky, he has a fine balance of fruit and tannins, and a complex, haunting finish.

We had what I thought was an online scuffle several years back when I took some of his posts to be trolling a bunch of my posts but when I called him out on it, it turned out to be my paranoid misunderstanding. Since then, I he has become one of my very favourite posters (particularly in the book threads) and I wish him all the best--and a belated Happy Birthday!

But I've always wanted to make mention of three posters whom I've never met. I don't even known their IRL names, ages or anything: Grisso, Tarfumes and Dr. Casino.

I'll read one of their posts, gain something from it, tell myself I should let them know, and then move on to the next thread without telling anyone anything. The most I've been able to do is remember to remember to mention them if I ever posted on this thread again.
