felicity - smart, bitchy, funny, made me a great mixtape once

Oh good you remembered. Your fave song IIRC was Len "Steal My Sunshine," amirite?

felicity, Thursday, 17 April 2008 23:21 (seventeen years ago)

Ned, Daniel Esq, jaymc, n/a, chicago ed, remy bean, Jaq, scott seward, and the many others I've met are all funny and warm in their own way. I always look forward to posts by J.D. and nabisco. There's no two people with whom I love sparring more about movies than Eric H and Morbs. Surmounter and elmo and the cutest ILX'ers of them all.

Alfred, Lord Sotosyn, Thursday, 17 April 2008 23:23 (seventeen years ago)

Also, guys, I'm sorry for the weird mega-post upthread. I have a promising job interview tomorrow, so hopefully my intermittent ilx obsessive bullshit will come to an end posthaste... Except for the off-hours when I will torture Southern Hemisphere persons who are just waking up as I meanwhile am bitterly drinking away the acquired psychic detritus of the day. Then I will gradually evolve into some kind of banworthy monstrosity, no question!

Bloody marvellous that innit.

Trayce, Thursday, 17 April 2008 23:30 (seventeen years ago)

and what is maybe my favorite ILXor

sunny successor, Thursday, 17 April 2008 23:31 (seventeen years ago)

xpostah
Yeah, I can't stop listening to it, to be honest.

ken, I hope you weren't offended. I'm just...I dunno grasping at some parallel straws, as it were?

dell, Thursday, 17 April 2008 23:35 (seventeen years ago)

Poor Kenan. :/

Trayce, Thursday, 17 April 2008 23:38 (seventeen years ago)

I think kenan's awesome!

dell, Thursday, 17 April 2008 23:44 (seventeen years ago)

Ken is a fearless karaoke superstar.

i'd like to clink pint glasses with the scottish football predictions thread guys for providing a good place to rant and debate and theorise and get nostalgic about football with thankfully very little in the way of moronic ill-informed comment and a lot in the way of laughs.

ailsa, Thursday, 17 April 2008 23:53 (seventeen years ago)

roxy - da best

latebloomer, Friday, 18 April 2008 01:18 (seventeen years ago)

latebloomer, Friday, 18 April 2008 01:24 (seventeen years ago)

sleep is tall and athletic.

felicity, Friday, 18 April 2008 01:29 (seventeen years ago)

Dreamboat gorilla? Foster's? Sweats Marmite is not far from the truth, though. You awsum for going to town on the top 100 posterers.

Autumn Almanac, Friday, 18 April 2008 01:32 (seventeen years ago)

Also gershy for revivalist. I thought this was dud until I saw the worth of it.

Autumn Almanac, Friday, 18 April 2008 01:35 (seventeen years ago)

wanko seems intuitive and nice.

Surmounter, Friday, 18 April 2008 01:46 (seventeen years ago)

I think ken is awesome, too, although I am unsettled by the fact that the question of whether he is a human sex beast or mythical love-god-type figure
remains unanswered. I need some closure on that.

kenan, Friday, 18 April 2008 01:55 (seventeen years ago)

Poor Kenan. :/

heh... whatever I'm not used to, I deserve. (And besides, I love attention.)

kenan, Friday, 18 April 2008 01:57 (seventeen years ago)

I hate it, which is why I'm quietly glad only one person's even mentioned me on here. I'd rather stay in the shadows these days.

Trayce, Friday, 18 April 2008 01:59 (seventeen years ago)

ken c - excellent puns that make me lol

caek, Friday, 18 April 2008 02:01 (seventeen years ago)

gershy keeps us honest.

felicity, Friday, 18 April 2008 02:01 (seventeen years ago)

An endorsement from s1ocki is generally good enough for me to want to see a film.

Rock Hardy, Friday, 18 April 2008 02:03 (seventeen years ago)

Alfred is genuine, personable, and such a good writer. I always enjoy reading Dan's kidding-around posts, but I think I like his serious-minded posts even more. Something very humane and thoughtful about them.

Daniel, Esq., Friday, 18 April 2008 02:25 (seventeen years ago)

Alfred, you almost certainly have better taste in movies than me. And Morbs is not only enjoyable on ILX film threads, he's absolutely necessary on most.

Eric H., Friday, 18 April 2008 02:39 (seventeen years ago)

ha! "taste" schmaste! I wish I could say I hate screwball.

Alfred, Lord Sotosyn, Friday, 18 April 2008 02:50 (seventeen years ago)

Alex in Baltimore- contributions to food threads= priceless

Alex in SF- classic throwdown w/Alex in Baltimore on casual dining
restaurant concepts thread will go down in history...admirably!

lol after 7 years here, I finally discover my niche: arguing about french fries

Alex in Baltimore, Friday, 18 April 2008 02:56 (seventeen years ago)

Sanskrit has an adorable son.

ian, Friday, 18 April 2008 02:57 (seventeen years ago)

s1ocki, Friday, 18 April 2008 04:49 (seventeen years ago)

tehresa, Friday, 18 April 2008 04:59 (seventeen years ago)

msp, Friday, 18 April 2008 05:57 (seventeen years ago)

Ned Trifle II, Friday, 18 April 2008 06:39 (seventeen years ago)

well, that's not very nice.

tehresa, Friday, 18 April 2008 06:42 (seventeen years ago)

Ned Trifle II is good at punctuation.

Autumn Almanac, Friday, 18 April 2008 07:30 (seventeen years ago)

grimly fiendish, Friday, 18 April 2008 08:04 (seventeen years ago)

some accolades, not including chicago people, because picking faves out of them is socially dangerous and difficult besides.

BIG HOOS: a good kid. Hard not to like, I think.
jhøshea: cool enough to almost and nearly get away with posting a bunch of shirtless pictures of himself.
Laurel: aw, we ain't chatted in too long. Solid good people, a lot like she says about Kevin.
elmo argonaut: Foolish not to like, I think.
Mr. Que: I like it when he agrees with me. Too obvious? Naw, just joking, I agree with him just as much.
Morbius: You all know he's actually a big softie, right? I mean, nobody *really* thinks he's an old crank? :)
Jon Williams: I look forward to his podcasts, lolz, and bitch fits. Endless entertainment from this guy.
chaki: dude is insane.
max: I can't say exactly, but... good vibes, I guess? He seems v bro-like.
Abbott: goes without saying by now.
Rubyredd: Is she still around much?
bell labs: favorite picture of cat power, new champion.
Tombot: I don't think it would be too bad to grow up to be a little more like him.
ILX System: does this dude have your back with the timely thread revive or what? Amazing. Prescient, even.
HI DERE: I'll let Mr. Perry stand in for all the eternal classic posters. You know who you are.

kenan, Friday, 18 April 2008 08:24 (seventeen years ago)

Gosh!

I wish I saw as much of Alba and homosexual II IRL as I used to.

Michael Jones, Friday, 18 April 2008 08:45 (seventeen years ago)

xp
Ok, now, that's better. And next time I'm in Glasgow, I know who's going to buy me a pint.

Ned Trifle II, Friday, 18 April 2008 08:45 (seventeen years ago)

Every ILXor I've ever met IRL has been super nice and friendly and smart and funny and welcoming and interesting and interested. This makes me hope you are all like that.

onimo, Friday, 18 April 2008 09:17 (seventeen years ago)

Onimo = forgiving

Mark C, Friday, 18 April 2008 09:47 (seventeen years ago)

Why, what did you do to him, Mark?

Tom D., Friday, 18 April 2008 09:58 (seventeen years ago)

We don't talk about the... unpleasantness.

Tom D = forgiving

Mark C, Friday, 18 April 2008 10:09 (seventeen years ago)

Yep, I'll go with both of those as well.

ailsa, Friday, 18 April 2008 10:15 (seventeen years ago)
