cozen (Cozen), Wednesday, 23 March 2005 01:48 (twenty years ago)

My house, Monday, 2pm, Pecan & Honey/French Vanilla Ice Cream, nearly thirty.

Madchen (Madchen), Saturday, 26 March 2005 13:38 (twenty years ago)

You're doing pecan and honey because you found out yesterday I don't eat nuts, aren't you...

(I bought shoes today! In a shoe shop! On a Saturday! What have you done to me?)

ailsa (ailsa), Saturday, 26 March 2005 13:40 (twenty years ago)

Wow. Dot to Dot tonight, in Govan, if anyone wants some rock action. You might even get to see the footie first.

Ally C (Ally C), Saturday, 26 March 2005 13:51 (twenty years ago)

I would like to be going to this. Instead I am going to see Ally's friends The Chalets, in Dublin, for a bit.

Lara (Lara), Saturday, 26 March 2005 15:05 (twenty years ago)

It's a transirishsea night of wonder, to be sure. I hope Lara will be trying Glasgow again, soon.

Ally C (Ally C), Saturday, 26 March 2005 15:16 (twenty years ago)

I forgot an important question when saying I might do a cross-Glasgow dash for Dot to Dot. What will it cost me to get it? My presence hinges on this.

ailsa (ailsa), Saturday, 26 March 2005 15:19 (twenty years ago)

if you pay me, a small fee, I will help you understand it.

cozen (Cozen), Saturday, 26 March 2005 15:23 (twenty years ago)

Gratuit.

Ally C (Ally C), Saturday, 26 March 2005 15:30 (twenty years ago)

nuts.

cozen (Cozen), Saturday, 26 March 2005 15:31 (twenty years ago)

Cozen's love don't cost a thing?

Lara (Lara), Saturday, 26 March 2005 15:34 (twenty years ago)

Haha, "get it". I mean "get in". I may, maybe, make it. Depends on other, family-type commitments (which I shall be on the periphery of as long as there is a TV I can be watching)

ailsa (ailsa), Saturday, 26 March 2005 15:51 (twenty years ago)

bot to bot, more like.

RJG (RJG), Saturday, 26 March 2005 16:31 (twenty years ago)

I think Keith told me his friends thought I had a nice bot, last night. Unfortunately I think they were all men. "Unfortunately". Haha.

Ally C (Ally C), Saturday, 26 March 2005 17:12 (twenty years ago)

This reminds me of Cook-Ass-Dance-Inferno.

Lara (Lara), Saturday, 26 March 2005 19:12 (twenty years ago)

your bottom is your most overrated feature.

RJG (RJG), Saturday, 26 March 2005 21:09 (twenty years ago)

ally's, I mean, obviously.

it would quite difficult and pointless to overrate lara's.

RJG (RJG), Saturday, 26 March 2005 21:09 (twenty years ago)

The way I feel right now, there may not be any Midori left in the whole of Glasgow. Ailsa, I am also making Vanilla (it is not the boring option when I make it).

Madchen (Madchen), Sunday, 27 March 2005 09:54 (twenty years ago)

Your vanilla icecream is teh biz, madchen. Midori, on the other hand, is the drink of Satan.

That pub, last night, was fun. Of sorts. When we went for a taxi outside, we randomly met that white-shellsuit-top guy from Pop League, who was wandering about with his mate looking for the Pearce Institute.

ailsa (ailsa), Sunday, 27 March 2005 10:25 (twenty years ago)

Yeah, we rounded them up and took them back to Campbell's. Under his jacket, he was wearing a pink cardie!

Madchen (Madchen), Sunday, 27 March 2005 10:30 (twenty years ago)

He was a funny man. Sorry, Glasgow. Dot to Dot were Shit to Shit.

Ally C (Ally C), Sunday, 27 March 2005 15:10 (twenty years ago)

Were you as bad as the Soul Men in Brechins, one of whom I may have gone to school with? They were bad.

ailsa (ailsa), Sunday, 27 March 2005 15:12 (twenty years ago)

Also, are you playing tomorrow or not?

ailsa (ailsa), Sunday, 27 March 2005 15:15 (twenty years ago)

No, not.

Madchen (Madchen), Sunday, 27 March 2005 15:23 (twenty years ago)

:(

Do you want me to bring BOOZE tomorrow? Or anything else?

ailsa (ailsa), Sunday, 27 March 2005 15:27 (twenty years ago)

Bring booze please, everyone who is coming.

Madchen (Madchen), Sunday, 27 March 2005 15:46 (twenty years ago)

am I glad I missed bot to bot, on this occasion?

RJG (RJG), Sunday, 27 March 2005 16:32 (twenty years ago)

You are always glad.

We were worse than we seemed.

Ally C (Ally C), Sunday, 27 March 2005 16:49 (twenty years ago)

Don't have too much ice-cream without me, Glasgow.

Cathy (Cathy), Monday, 28 March 2005 16:53 (twenty years ago)

It's not quite gone, but it will be, soon.

Madchen (Madchen), Tuesday, 29 March 2005 15:50 (twenty years ago)

RJG (RJG), Tuesday, 29 March 2005 19:05 (twenty years ago)

Hi Cozen (I am not Glasgow, but please accept my "hi" in the spirit with which it is offered).

I tried Glasgow on Friday and Saturday. Yay me. I would have tried on Monday too, but I was too tired, sorry Madchen, the combined effort of shoes, shopping, Pop League and Govanaoke was too much for me.

ailsa (ailsa), Tuesday, 29 March 2005 19:37 (twenty years ago)

Hope everyone is still alive after that friendly little get together!

KeefW (kmw), Sunday, 3 April 2005 20:32 (twenty years ago)

keith, you peed in the corner of my room. naked. it's ok... I think

RJG (RJG), Sunday, 3 April 2005 22:35 (twenty years ago)

the best of all possible.

cozen (Cozen), Sunday, 3 April 2005 22:36 (twenty years ago)

I posted about it, on my blog.

RJG (RJG), Sunday, 3 April 2005 22:38 (twenty years ago)

Cozen, the Laughing Cavalier.

Keith, the Pissing Somnambulist.

That was a fun party.

Ally C (Ally C), Sunday, 3 April 2005 23:47 (twenty years ago)

Highlight of my highlight-free week in Glasgow: last Tuesday, milling around the Food Hall downstairs at M&S, Argyle Street, minding my own business, a middle-aged lady rushes up to me excitedly and asks me (a) if I am "That Actor" and (b) do I know a "Rosemary Purdom" (Google proved unhelpful) who apparently also knows "That Actor." Sadly I could only reply to either question with a courteous, if bemused, negative.

I watched River City that evening and was satisfied that I resembled no one in the cast. Has Mac really been set up by Alice vis-a-vis the child porn or was he a perv to begin with?

Also, and finally, I have no intention of heading for the Bed Shed.

Marcello Carlin (nostudium), Monday, 4 April 2005 09:52 (twenty years ago)

I don't know, where it is, your blog, RJG! I would like to read it!

PJ Miller (PJ Miller), Monday, 4 April 2005 09:56 (twenty years ago)

I'm sorry, I don't really have a blog, PJ.

Oh, you are a tease, RJG!

It's never too late to start a blog.

PJ Miller (PJ Miller), Monday, 4 April 2005 10:27 (twenty years ago)
