(also, a lot of times they just show people taking their seats on the plane... so the camera crew wouldn't neccessarily have to be there for the whole flight as long as another crew was waiting at their arrival point)

I never watch the scenes for the next episode because I like to be surprised.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE how this is used as an example of Jerry Bruckheimer being able to get ANYTHING DONE. And it's true. And when anyone ever doubts the abilities of Jerry Bruckheimer again this will be my one and only argument. What are a few plane seats to Jerry Bruckheimer? HE MADE FLASHDANCE, PEOPLE!

Also, anyone hear that Amazing Race 6 is starting in a few weeks? Seems a bit too soon to me, but I hope it's as good as this season.

C&C Factory almost got royally boned by an ill-timed connection flight and a slow cabbie...I was thinking "If you fucking producers let the goddamned MOMS win and don't give C&C a non-elimination pass at the end of this..." Phew.

Why didn't Chip and Kim let one of the other teams yield Colin and Christie? I totally would have passed on it.

Me too. It's a travesty, I tell you.
The other teams may have wanted to yield C&C but they're all too chicken to actually do it -- Chip & Kim were probably the only ones willing to step up and yield those Texas morons.

I'm totally with you on this. Maybe we should be a team. "Dan and n/a, two people who barely kinda know each other, from the internet."
I felt really bad for Chip doing the walking-on-the-really-high-up-walkway thing. I would've been fucking scared of that too.

I wanted them out SO badly last night, but the finale would have sucked without the evil-doers. poor chuck is going to need a lot of Jesus to protect him from the weasels next week.
and, i know it's been mentioned, but "hit them, they don't matter"!?! wow.

and another thing: do these people actually think God is taking time out from slamming the world with plagues, floods and pestilence to help them play a game show? I can just picture the old Dude on his cloud whipping up a batch of lightning bolts and pausing to look down, "what's that? chip needs some help climbing a rope ladder? I'm on it!" or "starving orphans of the world, you're just going to have to wait. the model with the nice hair on Amazing Race needs a hand finding an envelope in a puddle of muck."
