the cat i have inherited often will hide under the couch and then, lying on her back & using one paw, will pull herself out. less feline than car mechanic when it comes to behavior.

i had a cat who while on her back would routinely drag herself along the ENTIRE LENGTH of the sofa motherfucker, tho admittedly she used both paws

Oh the sofa dragging, kinda miss that now we've got leather sofas, they can't get their claws in (which is why we wanted it tbh)
Ex-kitten's STILL going nuts on my shoe. I must've stepped in pure catnip or something.

the dragging stylee is endearing, no doubt. "I will not walk across this rug, I will drag myself along it, as though I am crawling up a wall like Spiderman".
It's all part of their bizarre yet noble insistence upon dignity at all costs.

dell sums up why cats are awesome. cute lil EVIL TIGERS. my two male cats that I've had for 3 weeks or so are still mauling each other. not constantly anymore, but consistently.
