For some reason I thought the School of Practical Philosphy was related to theosophy but I can't find a link after reading up. Still...it's kind of all the same?

I know an older couple who are/were theosophists (we've fallen out of touch now). The gentleman once tried to heal my friend's sore ankle with energy manipulation that involved holding his hands over her foot and shin, after which my friend swore she thought it'd helped.

Our friendship started to go downhill faster after that.
