My wife keeps reading me funny tweets, like "This Oscars is making me feel Les mis," or "blah blah sexist joke about women blah blah."

I thought it was neat that the orchestra is conducted off site!

Dead people come off so well on this show...Sarris was the ultimate fan, so that was nice, ditto Chris Marker.

I'm still confused by the rationale that dictates who gets included and who doesn't. Like, awesome that Sarris was in there, but critics aren't usually recognized in Academy memorials.

Past a certain point of obviousness, I think it's quite arbitrary. People turned up who really surprised me (e.g., George Kuchar last year), and many more have been overlooked.
