Given all that I'm assuming the difference in Stark accents is deliberate. The girl that plays Sansa is from Northampton although all the younger ones have a kind of generic thesp accent.

The wildling girl with red hair and a northern accent in the show has one of the poshest RP voices i've ever heard irl.

Lena Heady (Cersei) is from Yorkshire, which you can detect from her normal voice on the audio commentaries. It isn't strong, but it isn't the soft RP she uses in the programme.

I never bothered reading any more into this than "the children couldn't do Yorkshire accents". They all use their real accents.

the bloke with the eyepatch in the brotherhood sounds irish, authentically so.

That's Richard Dormer, who also plays the central character Terri Hooley in the movie Good Vibrations. Saw his name and couldn't believe it was the same guy.
