Selby takes the lead again with a couple of 30 breaks.

It might help he breaks down now and again. Gets Ronnie into these tactical battles. The commentators seem to think otherwise -- how much in the tank will he have -- but he is mentally strong, cuts both ways.

Selby 14-12. By far the biggest test Ronnie has ever faced in all of his finals here.

Selby is just eeking them out. He does break down but his tactical play is so good he gets another chance. Not seen anything like it in a while.

And Ronnie is out of sorts with all of this, not his rhythm - think Selby will grind it out now.

I'd prefer having someone win by making spectacular points and high breaks, but we've had that forever, this is just harder to admire.

I have a ton of admiration for it, he is doing it with far more flair than Graeme Dott. Really getting Ronnie in all sorts of bother.

You also know Selby is capable of scoring real heavy, but he hasn't been able to so he has a very strong plan B. Almost as good as a plan A.

Ronnie tried bullying him, century in the first frame of the session and Selby just came back at him real hard. Faultless match play and Ronnie looks defeated already.
