i mean the vast majority will not know or care why not just let the fussy ones do their thing

sometimes somebody who doesn't follow me will fav a tweet, an unretweeted tweet, & it will occur to me that this means somewhere out there somebody is using the discover feature, just bereft of content, unsated by their feed & reliant on the faving impulses of others & the computations of some remote whirring twitter computer bank to guide them. just unthinkable to float so freely, driving around looking out of the windows for distraction

Otm, I can't use their own apps or web-app, they're terrible. If they can keep these changes away from third party apps (as has been the case up until now) I've got no beef with that.

My office recently switched to virtual machines at our desks, so I don't have the power to run Tweetdeck smoothly anymore and have been relegated to Twitter dot com; I've been pleasantly surprised that though it lacks the rapid fire endorphin button pushing of Tweetdeck's constant updates, I also find it easier to follow convos, which is a big part of how I use it now rather than the old days of following 10 live tags at once.
