They played Pod People earlier, we watched about half of it before realizing we'd just watched it like six months ago and should save our marathon energy for fresh meat. But man, what a classic... I'm sure I've quoted half the lines on this thread at some point.

you know one area where i actually would be kinda okay with them making more of this show? Shorts! Soooo much alarming, dopey, doublethinky public-domain stuff that would be way more easily identified and found these days, I think. Also maybe suitable for today's low-attention-span viewer, or something like that. Anyway, the shorts are some of my all-time favorite bits (except when they're doing serials, which are usually just kinda baffling).

Yeah, it might be a tall order for them to get the right tone with full-length movies in this era of Birdemic and Sharknado. But shorts will always work.
