tbh I like Bourdain's shows for the camerawork and locations and less for the human interaction

it's kind of a reverse "heart of darkness"/colonial travelogue thing where Bourdain goes to a different locale every week and then mumbles to the camera, "truly, I am the savage here"

I went to a pizza place tonight and right as I showed up two guys with a really nice video camera, one of whom was wearing a FLAVORTOWN shirt, walked out and got into a van with out of state plates. Apparently I missed Guy by an hour or so.
