Americans must live with the uncertainty of not knowing whether Trump has the best interests of the United States or those of Russia at heart.

trump has only ever had the best interests of donald trump at heart

"By the way, I try like hell to hide that bald spot, folks, I work hard at it," Trump tells CPAC -- rare moment of self-deprecating humor!

LISTEN - This is what Michael Wolff was HEARING in his earpiece when he claimed he couldn’t hear my question on @TheTodayShow this morning. pic.twitter.com/dl3ZvQfKWm

— BenFordham (@BenFordham) February 26, 2018

Have we been talking abt the absolute shit show Michael Wolff's been having as of late? Kids from a Dutch tv show asked him critical questions, causing him to cancel all Dutch interviews that were planned.

Le Bateau Ivre, Monday, 26 February 2018 15:54 (eight years ago)

that clip is beautiful

Simon H., Monday, 26 February 2018 16:06 (eight years ago)

Wow. Clearly he heard him the entire time. You gotta practice that routine in the mirror a few before times before attempting it on live tv

i think we all owe mr. and mrs. trump an apology. all they ever wanted was to chain-migrate melania's parents from a former soviet bloc country. tax cuts

I meant this one:

In #CollegeTour stelt studente messcherpe vraag aan auteur van het boek 'Fire and Fury' Michael Wolff. Wolff suggereerde eerder in een interview dat president Trump een verhouding heeft met de Amerikaanse ambassadeur bij de Verenigde Naties Nikki Haley. pic.twitter.com/SITmJyK0fk

Certain nations go out of their way to making certain individuals' personal interests rhyme with their own

Moo Vaughn, Monday, 26 February 2018 16:38 (eight years ago)

Wolff fucked up as soon as he said "Nikki Haley embraced the rumors" gtfo dude. in fairness he never named anyone on Bill Maher, and by that point I had read most of the book and assumed he was talking about Hope Hicks, but when Haley preemptively defended herself Wolff should've just stuck with "I didn't name anyone and Nikki Haley is offering a defense for something I did not accuse her of."

but really it was reckless to bring it up in the first place on Maher's show. it's not as if Wolff needed to goose sales

flappy bird, Monday, 26 February 2018 17:29 (eight years ago)

Wolff being sketchy as fuck doesn't exonerate Trump. But Wolff can go away any time now thx.

oklahomie don't play that (Ye Mad Puffin), Monday, 26 February 2018 17:56 (eight years ago)

yea obviously, just bummed Wolff compounded already significant doubts re: his credibility as a journalist

flappy bird, Monday, 26 February 2018 18:10 (eight years ago)

He's always been a con artist as far as I can tell

Wolff being sketchy as fuck doesn't exonerate Trump

I don't think anyone (here) is arguing this

Simon H., Monday, 26 February 2018 18:15 (eight years ago)

I certainly wasn't.

Le Bateau Ivre, Monday, 26 February 2018 18:20 (eight years ago)

No, no one here. But you can be damn sure that Wolff's slipups will be madly spun on fox - beetblort - dextrosphere.

oklahomie don't play that (Ye Mad Puffin), Monday, 26 February 2018 18:40 (eight years ago)

Not much you can do about the chuds.

Simon H., Monday, 26 February 2018 18:44 (eight years ago)

yes there is, you don't have to give them free ammunition.

flappy bird, Monday, 26 February 2018 18:46 (eight years ago)

This line of attack was inevitable as soon as Wolff got involved. And it's not like the likes of fuckin Breitbart need to wait around for legitimate grievances to fire those shots.

Simon H., Monday, 26 February 2018 18:56 (eight years ago)

true but this stuff has gotten him scrubbed from MSNBC and other liberal arenas where he was a sought after guest in january

flappy bird, Monday, 26 February 2018 18:57 (eight years ago)

I think he probably outlived his usefulness on this subject a while ago tbh

Simon H., Monday, 26 February 2018 19:01 (eight years ago)

i keep waiting for someone that has that kind of venue to call his "plan" out as straight up moronic, ill informed and dangerous to his face and i guess this is as close as were going to get.

back on topic: Trump dissing the officers that didn't go into the school in Florida during the shooting, and then saying he would've gone in "without a weapon" = classic

flappy bird, Monday, 26 February 2018 19:22 (eight years ago)

that is inarguably hilarious, sorry everyone

Simon H., Monday, 26 February 2018 19:29 (eight years ago)

Trump couldn't even act superior around Obama IRL, he was shook every time he stood near him. our president is an internet tough guy.

reggie (qualmsley), Monday, 26 February 2018 19:31 (eight years ago)

In a 2008 interview with Howard Stern, Trump told the shock jock that he turned away from an injured elderly man who had fallen off the stage at a Mar-a-Lago benefit because he couldn’t stomach the sight of blood.

“This guy falls off right on his face, hits his head, and I thought he died,” Trump told Stern. “And you know what I did? I said, ‘Oh, my God, that’s disgusting,’ and I turned away. I couldn’t, you know, he was right in front of me and I turned away. I didn’t want to touch him.”

even now, that slouchy, arms-crossed look he seems to fall into now every time he's in a meeting is just textbook weak posture. like he's not even interested in playing the part anymore.

Fire & fury was hilarious and I enjoyed reading it but it shouldn’t be a surprise that Michael Wolff is a liar. I don’t think pointing this out helps Trump either. It’s not like Wolff was his only critic or anything.

still, the fact that there have been practically no specific denials of stuff in the book kinda leads me to believe that a lot of it is basically accurate
