I said screen name just now when I meant display name btw, something that lowkey annoys me when ilx gets it wrong (such as the thread “finest of display names only”—display names cannot be changed, it is screen names that I am unfailingly excellent at)

i have been thinking a lot about the community aspect of ilx and how it is the only group i have ever maintained longterm membership in.
if we squabble now and then, i think it's probably good for community standards in the long run.
