If Dekar was real (in many ways he is!) he would be tracking down Josh Loran and eliminating him with extreme prejudice— M i s t e r A m e r i c a (@timheidecker) October 17, 2019
― Jersey Al (Albert R. Broccoli), Thursday, 17 October 2019 16:56 (five years ago)
i had to check that josh lorton wasn't a real person playing a character w/ the same name bc the incitement was so intense i was legit worried someone might die bc of a crazed fan
― Mordy, Thursday, 17 October 2019 17:30 (five years ago)
feel it would be remiss of me not to mention the new dril show truthpoint here too. yeah it owes a lot to OCATC but has a similar lols per minute rate and seems extremely promising based on episode 1

Cappy Ricks (Walter Brennan) has returned home from a long voyage at sea only to find that his family and business are not as he left them... Cappy Ricks knows he has to end the chaos and set things straight. He brings everyone on his ship as there he can be the Captain and in charge. He has a two day excursion extend into an 8 week voyage. Then they are lost on an uninhabited island. And as in other movies of that period, he uses the island to straighten out the arrogance of the rich ladies and the weakness of sons under mothers dominance.

I'd give it five bags of popcorn, and maybe a shotgun shell from "The Real McCoys".

If he survives I shudder to think how they’ll top “Tim plays with guns” as a theme.
I know they mentioned in a recent interview that they had previously scrapped an arc where Tim dies and is replaced by his twin brother. But they also recently established (I think in Mister America?) that Tim has no siblings currently living so I think that ship has sailed?
― Lucky Pierre Delecto (crüt), Thursday, 24 October 2019 16:38 (five years ago)
I don't think they'll let anything said previously get in the way of sailing whatever ship they want to sail tbf
